LOL, nice try. At the end of Trump’s speech he called out Cruz for hiding his Goldman Sachs “loans”. A few Cruz supporters booed, probably because the truth hurts. Trump set them straight, finished his speech and received a standing ovation. It was beautiful. Trump speaks the truth and some can’t handle the truth.

Everyone needs to remember that he is and was a businessman. He was not a politician then. Anyone who has done business and needed favors etc you have to do crap like this.
It’s hard to know what Trump actually believes as he has learned to get his way by playing up to important people. I do wonder what in his heart of heart he believes about important life issues. Maybe he really is better than we think but to get ahead he has been a hypocrite. Maybe he is worse than what he says. Only he and God knows at this point.

And supporting "giv[ing] [illegals] a path" so we can "make it possible for them to succeed", supporting a provision virtually identical to the 2007 "touchback" amnesty is good, tough immigration policy, while fighting against the Gang of Eight bill, offering killer amendments, and working to get a petition agaisnt it is a pro-amnesty position.

Fine, but why take the risk w multiple Supreme Court appointments at stake? trump has supported leftist causes for years (including stating that he wants to appoint his pro-abortion sister to the bench), or a proven conservativr like Cruz?
This is an issue of TRUST.
