Speaking to a crowd at a Portsmouth, N.H., rally hosted by Scott Brown on Saturday, Donald Trump said the former senator would make a âvery goodâ vice president.
After Trump asked Brown whether he would consider running for public office again, a member of the audience floated the idea of a Trump-Brown ticket in 2016.
âVice president â hey, that sounds like it could, hey, hey, very good,â Trump responded.

This is what a Trump administration would look like. Full of liberals, moderates, Democrats and Rino "compassionate conservatives."
Just say no to the Donald.
I’ve heard talk that the GOP will be under pressure to have a “diverse” ticket.
Under pressure from whom? Under pressures from liberals and the media, assuming that the Democrats have a woman and/or a minority on their ticket. There’s been talk of HIllary Clinton picking Castro, the HUD Secretary as VP.
In that case, the media will have a mediagasm about the diversity of the Democrat ticket, and contrast that if the GOP has two white men on their ticket.
Not that I am saying the GOP needs to give in to media and liberal demands for diversity. Just saying the issue will come up, if the Democrats have a woman and/or minority member as their ticket.
Now, there are numerous quality minority and women Republicans who could be on the ticket. Gov. Martinez of New Mexico, former Congressman Alan West, just to name two.
Outside NY, here in Flyover, we call people like that Carpetbaggers.
“Oh come on Trump will carry the northeast———”
What makes you say that?
I live in the Northeast and have doubts.
.
Heâs playing you all like a violin. He was there as a guest of Brown and was being gracious. I never saw so many people get so bent out of shape by something so ridiculous.
Mispresentations is all they have. Levin for example will probably spend 3 hours bashing Trump for this on Monday. smh.
The beauty of elections is that unlike business deals, he doesn't need to sign on the dotted line with respect to any of his promises, and any written pledge he make isn't legally enforceable. The Art of the Deal, indeed. This could be Trump's best deal ever. The keys to the kingdom with no strings attached.
It’s Trump’s to lose and he isn’t wasting anytime losing it.
Here's the T-R-U-T-H: A young girl in the audienced asked Trump if she could come up on stage and take a selfie with him. Scott Brown said, no. Probably because he was the host and maybe concerned with security. I don't know.
Then Trump overrode Brown and let the girl come up on stage and get her selfie. The audience booed Brown for not letting the girl come up on stage. While that was going on, Trump said, Well, if Scott were running for office, he would let her come up. Audience laughter.
Then Trump asked Brown if he was going to be running for office again.
Immediately someone from the audience yelled out, how about as your VP to Trump?
Then, Trump, because he has good manners, said something complimentary, like 'yeah, yeah, that would be a good idea' as opposed to saying to the audience member, are you kidding me? why would I ever consider this guy and insult the host of these Backdoor BBQs that all the candidates have attended. And who was showing Trump his hospitality.
And this becomes Trump floating SCott Brown as his VP.
Desperate.
Not really. He said that Cruz MUST very his eligibility because he would not choose him unless he did.
He was just kidding. Get over it.
‘Considering Trump didn’t “float” Brown at all, but was just responding graciously to a Trump supporter from the audience, the answer is “No,” we’re not going to come to the light of Ted Cruz Messiahism.’
Took 14 posts for the truth to come out.
Better late than never.

Hero worship-induced credulity makes people say a lot of unlikely things.
Makes sense from a practical perspective. It might put Massachusetts in play. Taken New York and Massachusetts (along with all the non-Obama states) and you win.
Question is, does it cost him any non Obama states? (I'm not going to buy into the "Red" state bullsh*t. Commies are "Red." Conservatives are True Blue.)
Meshuge read that incorrectly. He is referencing that National Review article where the writer claims Trump âhintedâ at Kasich for VP. What was the hint? During the debate, Kasich said something positive about Trumpâs policies, and Trump replied, âI like having him here tonight.â
Now there will be a horde of insufferable, uninformed TDSers telling Freepers that Trump is looking closely at Kasich and Brown for VP choices!
As for the meat of your argument: I asked for a link before repeating the claim. However Trump’s comments today raise an interesting question: if Brown is supporting Trump, and Brown is pro-choice and a moderate RINO, what does that say about what he sees in Trump? Or, if we are to argue that the host of a fundraiser does not necessarily support the views of a candidate, or expect recompense, can you PLEASE lay off the “Ted Cruz attended fundraisers hosted by gay marriage supporters?” or “Ted Cruz takes donations from the devil (Goldman Sachs)”?
..that’s about what we can expect—Sarah Palin types won’t be getting any calls...
A Trump/Hitlery would be more appropriate for the Uniparty Platform DUnold is promoting.
Perhaps Bernie Sanders will be free.. by then
He has really disappointed me this last week or two.
