Ted Cruz has taken more heat for his comments about “New York values†than he has anything else he has said since he was elected in 2012. Naturally, since most of the mainstream media is based out of New York, it has been high horse riding time as so many have gotten their panties in a wad over the comments. Ironically, they take more offense at what Cruz said than in Donald Trump’s blatant birtherism. Being a birther is cool now that it’s not Barack Obama who is the subject of Trump’s comments.
Unfortunately for Trump, who deftly (but at the same time shamelessly) evoked 9/11 as a means of responding to Ted Cruz’s comments, he cannot escape the very things he has said over the course of the last 15 years. Trump, as I have said on prior occasions is a charlatan. He is not a conservative at all. He is not now and never has been one. Outside of immigration (which is far more based on phony populism than policy), his views on taxes, healthcare, foreign policy and trade carry all the hallmarks of a progressive Democrat.

Lol. I grew up in New York City and Cruz is right on target which is why the flak is coming from the commie Mayor, Governor and MSM ensconced in that liberal hellhole. But it is a good test for Cruz. If he isn’t tough enough to handle the screeching from you and them he is not tough enough to handle the demands of the campaign against Clinton and the left.
How so?
God has already weighed in on abortion. He doesn’t do so on a case by case basis.
He is more than tough enough as Trump will find out.
“He took loans against stock he had.” Why explain the facts of life to “PATQ”. If by now in their life they do not understand what a collateral load is they never will.
But “PATQ” and others who support The Donald do have New York values - Conservative / Limited G’ment - Not so much
So far of three of the loudest and most prolific Trump posters on FR, One is Pro choice, One is an admitted Clinton supporter and the third won’t deny her association with No Labels after spouting their talking points.

LOL, also, he said, “Look, this is the first time you’ve asked me this question”. In other words, “I didn’t have time to rehearse an answer.”
The guy kept asking specific questions and his response was to hold up his hands: “Look, I’m pro-life, OK? I’m pro-life.”
Seriously, how can anyone support this fraud?
Which is probably why he won’t the Manhattan straw poll: The few conservatives who DO come out of Manhattan known a true conservative when they see one.

The stuff coming out about CRuz is recent, and smacks of sneaky snakiness. His recent ‘disclosure’ letter to the FEC is an example of the CRuz-two-step.

I think so. Quite a few of us think so actually. And when you combine that with FR’s India traffic, it gets even more interesting.
He doesn’t even say he hates abortion. He says he is VERY (emphasis is his) pro-choice in every way. Therefore he goes with partial-birth abortion, even though he hates partial-birth abortion.
