Here's The Video Proof Trump's a Cynical Phony on 'New York Values'
Daily Wire ^ | January 15, 2015 | Ben Shapiro

Trump appeared on Meet The Press on October 24, 1999, where he had several exchanges with Tim Russert:

RUSSERT: Do you think gays should be allowed to be married?

TRUMP: It’s something I haven’t given lots of thought to. I live in New York City, there is a tremendous movement on to have and allow gay marriage. It’s just something that is too premature for me to comment on.

RUSSERT: How about gays serving in the military?

TRUMP: It would not disturb me. I mean, hey, I lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, so my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa, perhaps…

Trump calls the entire state of Iowa stupid. Where’s the airplay on that?

Beltway Values and NY Values are essentially the same thing.

Cruz is making a major mistake of going after NY values. He is painting himself into a corner as a far right wing-nut. If he thinks getting the NY media and literati against him will help, he is very wrong.

Trump, the street-fighter from Queens, humiliated the champion debater from Canada, on national TV leaving a shaken Cruz applauding while Trump was eviscerating him. Now, the Cruz ego has him doubling down. It will only lead to his own demise. Trump is the bullfighter waving the red cape of NY values while Cruz futilely tries to attack him. Not going to work. Time to call in the picadores for the tercio de varas.

I expect Trump to use "NY values" when he campaigns in certain parts of FL.

It’s something I haven’t given lots of thought to. I live in New York City, t would not disturb me. I mean, hey I lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life

and again, it may be< b>a little bit of a New York background, because there is some different attitude in different parts of the country, and you know, I was raised in New York, and grew up and work and everything else in New York City.

ENOUGH references to NYC?

the mans a repetition machine

just stunning!!!

“…I am pro-choice in every respect as far as it goes, but I just hate it.” D.J.T

thats bound to be at least entertaining if not particularly COGENT or Decipherable!!

I’m trying to understand the difference between “New York values” and “conservative values” seeing as how in reality they both are in favor of the same things.

In fact, as I think about it, the New York value holder will tell you right to your face yeah, I’m in favor of these things, but elected conservatives will tell you I’m opposed to these things, but then go fund them all day long and lift not a finger to stop any of it. So... what am I supposed to get from that?

Now my brain has wandered onto a few other things. Since Ted has decided to insult New York values, I wonder what New Yorkers in Florida are going to think about voting for Ted Cruz.

Do you think Ted needs Florida to win? I do. There’s a lot of New Yorkers here, bud.

My brother’s wife’s parents are in Orlando. Guess where they are from. Maybe I’ll ask them what they think of this whole values thing. They are very nice people by the way.

And I find myself wondering what really is the difference between New York values and the values of every other major city in America.

They are all fairly liberal aren’t they? Run almost exclusively or even totally by democrats?

I wonder if people in such major cities my group themselves with New Yorkers in this matter and take offense to what Ted said? Now I’m just speculating on that, but you never know, right?

I get that you feel the need to defend Ted’s mistake, but my guess is your defense isn’t going to help him, and yes, he screwed up.

DOnald Defined His New York values

LISTEN to the WORDS he spoke and you should readily be able to determine what the differences between those values and Conservative Values ARE

Thank you

this is even better than the NEW YORK VALUES....FIASCO

“I am pro-choice in every respect as far as it goes, but I just hate it. “ DONALD J< TRUMP

don’t ask me what it mean..... ASK THE DONALD.....he said it!!!

Yeah he can change and does about once per week and the simple minded morons who follow him just make excuses.

Personally I suspect most of you voted for Obama anyway (Thus my utter lack of respect for your kind)

Cool.

People can be pro-whatever they want whenever they want. And they are also free to change their minds.

As I told you previously, it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks about it. The issue was decided for us. The SCOTUS effectively made us all pro-choice, and the representatives that we elected as recently as a year ago are making us all pay for it.

I really don’t think anyone who is going to vote for Trump is going to do that because they expect him to ban abortion and gay marriage.

I don’t think your Tim Russert video is going to matter a hill of beans.

The question is will Ted Cruz’s insult to a large number of people who live in many places, including New York, hurt him?

My guess is that it will.

Time will tell.

It's okay when Trump talks about NY values. It's not okay when Cruz talks about NY values.

Trump is okay to agree or disagree with NY values. Cruz is not okay to disagree with NY values.

That's the latest nonsense meme.

What I posted on another thread:

“Dear Lord, there are quite a few Freepers who suddenly don’t perceive nuance. Pre-Trump, these folks would have known EXACTLY what Cruz meant with his comment about “New York values”—and would have agreed 100%.”
