Trump appeared on Meet The Press on October 24, 1999, where he had several exchanges with Tim Russert:
RUSSERT: Do you think gays should be allowed to be married?
TRUMP: Itâs something I havenât given lots of thought to. I live in New York City, there is a tremendous movement on to have and allow gay marriage. Itâs just something that is too premature for me to comment on.
RUSSERT: How about gays serving in the military?
TRUMP: It would not disturb me. I mean, hey, I lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, so my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa, perhapsâ¦

More 1999 crap. Please...
The Man has changed..his tune...and thats about all.
oh that was ever so cogent...and irrelevant...yes
“Donald” is the new Lyin King!
So any historical data on Trump is irrelevant.
Let’s go the “hope and change” route again. It worked last time so well.
I’m trying to think of which conservative prevented gay marriage from becoming legal and which conservative prevented gays from serving in the military.
I can’t think of one. Help me out.
The time gap was less when Ronald Reagan became president from when he signed an ultra pro-abortion law in California
Were talking Donald Trumps SELF DEFINED...New York Values Here Already
The Cruz of this Biscuit is New York Values as mentioned by Ted Cruz....PRE DEFINED.....SPoken Vy The Greatly Offended One...on DOland J, Trump
TRUMP called them New Yorl Values...Not I...Not Ted
Ted Repeated the definition that Trump rendered
all so very simple really unless one is INTENT on REFRAMING the CORE of the data.
Thanks
The GOP should get down on its knees every day and thank God that Trump is in the race. Does anyone think that these GOP debates would be drawing up to 24 million at a time setting all kinds of records without Trump?
Would we be talking about the victims of criminal alien crime and sanctuary cities without Trump? The RNC wanted to squash immigration as an issue in the race. Trump has been setting the agenda. He draws huge, energetic crowds dwarfing all the rest of the candidates'.
Trump CALLED these issues ....”Gay Marriages..Abortion..Gays In the Military..etc NEW YORK VALUES
thats what this thread is about!!
any and all attempts to reframe that SUBJECT..NEW YORK VALUES as DEFINED.....by Donald J Trump will be called out asap
Thanks!
Cruz set a trap for Trump. He now has all the material he needs to run ads with excerpts from the Russert interview and Trump and Cruz clips from the debate.
The message:
Trump is a NYC Guy.
His core values are NYC based.
Or, perhaps, he was lying to Tim Russert.
So, Trump fans, which is it?
The new Lyin King is the same as the old Lyin King.
It’s not about Trump’s views on the issues, which might or might not have changed since 1999, it’s about his admission about New York having certain attitudes and values that rest of the country might not share.
Reagan wasn’t a New Yorker.. Never Defined New York values...and never pretended to be offended by what he had defined.... as same.
Simple stuff
Lets stay On TRACK here!
Donald Defined the “values” “the New York City Values”..no one else beats em to it.
Now he Owns it. He gave birth to the genre in this generation.
His OFFENSE taken....is the acme of hypocrisy!
I ove how he compared the New York Values ..to...IOWA
what a stroke....of “managerial” GENIUS...not!
Onward TO IOWA!!!
THERE IT IS!!
His comparison of New Yor Values to what might “work in IOWA..... PERFECT and PERFECT TIMING to get this news out there prior to the soon upcoming IOWA...Caucus
no one could have paid him enough to sabotage himself with his own words this well..
Ted Cruz is truly a very bright man.
You know. In 1964 I voted for Johnson. In 1968 I voted for Nixon. I was in Viet Nam at the time. I changed from being liberal to being conservative. People change over the years.
“New York values” Don’t!
I see you weren’t able to help me out, but I’m not surprised.
Frankly, I’m not interested in pointless litmus tests.
Apparently we are all just fine with “conservatives” who do nothing about these social issues, excluding of course funding them with our money in the case of abortion, so I am not particularly concerned what Donald thinks about things that aren’t going anywhere.
Noone’s going to ban any of it, and it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks about any of it, one way or the other, because the SCOTUS decided the issue for us, which is obviously fine with us, because we have taken zero action to reign in that court in either or any other case.
So, WHATEVER, Mikey.
