If the Republican Presidential Primaries came down to these candidates, for whom would you vote?

Please spread the insult!
I’d support Cruz for anything, even POTUS, except, if he’s running against Trump. Even then I’m not unsupportive, I just think Trump wins 40 states.
Trump will not take Cruz on as a running mate.
I’m not on Twitter or Facebook. Can someone read Trump’s tweets if not a member? Is there a link?

I don’t think Trump needs Rubio to carry Florida, he’ll be able to do that on his own. I’m thinking a blue state person, and even, as ridiculous as it sounds, Kasich.
We have a winner!
‘I’ve just returned from Twitter and he’s bashing Cruz’s brains out.’
Can’t argue with you there. Trump is lit.
“Would you support Cruz for the Supreme Court?”
I wouldn’t. He’s been proven to be too easily swayed by less conservative people while in his current position. We need someone tougher as SCOTUS. Look what (alleged) Roberts did. Cruz made wrong decisions. He knew they were wrong when he made them so was careful to build in some wiggle room for a rationalization later on if necessary. Not tough enough. (”I believed Mitch McConnell.”)
He’d be OK for AG.
Politics is a blast. But lets keep our eye on the prize. The goal in this election cycle, is keeping Hillary and any other American hating leftist, collectivist out of office. Obviously we each have a favorite candidate, who we swear will be the savior of the American dream, but be careful, how many times have our choices been a disappointment (Bush selecting Roberts for SCOTUS, a disaster), etc. Obviously some of the candidates are better than others, most know they have no chance. To win the candidate must by able to take on the press and not only beat them at their game but come out even stronger for it. Reagan was masterful at this. Donald Trump is also. Not saying he is another Reagan, but he is surely a real leader and the best man to win the prize, keeping Hillary out of the White House. And finally we need to rally behind whoever the nominee is, putting disappointment aside, for the sake of our future.
Thank you; very interesting read!
I’m enjoying getting these perspectives on Cruz if he doesn’t win the nom. I don’t think he can win the presidency, btw. He’s very much a regional candidate.
Bottom line: “Obsequious”.
‘Because it sustains their fantasy that an inexperienced, glib, <1 term senator will become the nominee.’
That sounds right to me. Personally, I couldn’t predict where Carson’s supporters would go. He’s fairly unique: an accomplished outsider with an almost weirdly quiet voice. He’s hardly conservative at all. My wild guess would be that Rubio would pick up some Carson supporters. The rest would probably scatter like buckshot.
LOL Oh, I wouldn’t touch that with a 10 foot pole.
“If the Republican Presidential Primaries came down to these candidates, for whom would you vote?”
Most would say, if it were between these two would it really
matter? One would be president and one would be vice-president.
However with Jeb being fictitiously kept in the
race I have a feeling that he may be VP or either may be
taken out by a Brokered Convention.
As for the Question, Cruz without hesitation.
Keep in mind Reuters has NY values as well... and no that does not mean I hate the military, police or rescue workers
Rafael Teddy Cruz has held himself out as a firebrand outsider for the people against the WS Beltway establishment. Instead we learn he has deep connections to Harvard, Princeton and his wife was an investment advisor, stockbroker, for Goldman Sachs making 500,000 million a year with leverage. Nothing wrong with success but it doesn’t fit his phony narrative. Trump has made inroads on his birth status and Reuters released a poll yesterday stating 1/4th of Republican voters now disqualify him for President because of his Canadian heritage. A good ole boy in Iowa might reconsider the hoodwinking Cruz is attempting.
