I think Santorum would be Trump’s best pick for V.P. but don’t know if they could win PA or VA.

As for Trump, if he does even a third of what he says he's going to do, then we're far better off than where we were, as opposed to the other candidates who, even if they had the will to do so, would probably not have the ability to take on the establishment and win - a trait that Trump has shown that he is quite able to do.

That's a checklist for a modern VP, with the exception of Cheney.
