Listen to this video and you will hear Trump tell Tim Russert that he is totally pro choice even on partial birth abortion and that this is because he was raised in NY and has different values than he would if he had grown up in Iowa. Once Cruz uses this video in a commercial to show what Trump's New York Values are then it will be game set and match.

Yes. This is getting out there. And Cruz had a great statement out today.

It’s interesting that this is dominating the news cycle.

I think it helps Cruz.

People said a lot of dumb stuff pre-9/11. I wouldn’t have voted for him last century.

He also says, even back then, that he was totally against abortion, that he hated to even talk about it. He had a different political view that was presented, not just in NY but across the country, as pro-choice.

He has since become outspoken on his pro-life stance.

Did you Cruz people just wake up from a coma or something? This stuff has been posted over and over for months! Scott Walker’s 4 supporters were here spamming the site with it ages ago. Yeb even spent millions running this thing in TV ads!

There’s some jerkwad running around posting it on every thread tonight too, just FYI.

Thanks for the thread though.

Maybe you can ask Jim to put it on every thread posted on FR. It’ll still make zero difference, but you might feel better.

I really appreciate the video clip from 17 years ago.

Desperation is setting in for the Cruz camp.

Until the Trump people point out a date and proclaim the Cruz people misleading and liars.

A lot has changed in 17 years...

9/11, the financial meltdown, and 8 years of hell under Obama. Many of us have evolved on a lot of issues in those 17 years.

Using a video clip from last century to attack Donald Trump is something the establishment tried back in August. It’s a rehash trying to discredit a man who answered all these questions then, and most of us, including many Ted Cruz supporters(and Ted himself) accepted that Trump has changed.

This is the Cruz campaign’s response to the BS birther argument... I get it, but it comes from the same place of desperation and like the birther argument I will ignore it.

Breaking news from 1999? It’s looking pretty desperate for Team Cruz if you have to spam FR like this.

This is not breaking news. it’s a youtube video from 1999 and it has already been posted on FR multiple times today.

I don't trust Ted Cruz on ANYTHING. He was a 100% dyed in the wool GOPe apparatchik...until the Tea Party erupted in 2010 and he changed his tune. He is as fake as his cowboy boots. Even one year ago he supported a massive 500% increase in H1-B visas and an INCREASE in legal immigration, when we need a 10-year pause. In 2010 Donald Trump wrote a book containing 80% of the tough immigration restrictions he announced last summer. He has railed against China and unfair trade for decades.

Cruz' wife Heidi -- who sends me 3 emails a day despite 5 requests to unsubscribe -- is even worse, co-authoring a proposal to create a North American Union, rip down all border fences and have a common currency, the Amero. Just like Hillary, we would get a "2-for-1 deal" with Heidi Cruz. I would rather have Melania picking out furtiture and drapes for the West Wing and stay out of policy. Heidi will be in every single policy meeting, and she is exactly the kind of establishment hack we all despise.

thank you. If this wasn’t posted I was going to post it.

No evidence that Trump has changed. He did not support Kim Davis. He has been silent on Christians in New York persecuted by gays who won’t host their wedding. Trump has said Planned Parenthood does some good things. Trump has funded the New York Democrat political machine and hasn’t done a thing to break their hold and last Trump praises Hitlery legal supporters.

Please check this out Iowa value voters, and you will see that Trump does NOT represent your social conservative values! Trump even mentioned in the clip that NY was not like Iowa.

“....you will hear Trump tell Tim Russert that he is totally pro choice even on partial birth abortion ....”

So, even Trump admitted he had NY values.

Mark Levin played a clip of this on his show. Thanks for posting this.

Cruz is now running against New York City Values, not Donald Trump.

Which do Republican Primary Voters support:

New York City Values or Consistent Conservatism?

What New Yorker said that Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Traditional Marriage Conservatives were not welcome in the state?

...then acted outraged by Cruz's "different values" comment.

Views: According to Webster: an attitude or opinion. Values are not views. Views are opinions. I have views on Nascar, Wendy's chili, my favoritie perfume. Values, according to Webster: "a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life." The fact that you conflate or don't understand the difference between the two is not suprising. Trump was explaining himself, he wasn't attacking a set of people in a geographical area.

Donald Trump on Abortion

OnTheIssuesLogo
I am now pro-life; after years of being pro-choice:

Donald Trump shocked attendees at the conservative CPAC conference in February when he declared himself pro-life after years of supporting the pro-abortion position. Several months ago, when questioned about his position, Trump responded by saying the public "would be surprised" by his stance and, in an interview with Laura Ingraham from Fox News leading up to the conference, Trump characterized himself as "pro-life" and he repeated that apparent reversal when he told the audience at CPAC, "I am pro-life" and pledged to fight for the reversal of ObamaCare, which contains abortion funding loopholes.

As the 2012 race intensifies, pro-life advocates must call upon Donald Trump to further explain his stand on important pro-life issues like Supreme Court nominations and repeal of the pro-abortion Obama healthcare law.

I changed my views to pro-life based on personal stories:

Q: Evangelicals want to feel secure that they're going to have a nominee that's solid on those social issues.

A: One thing about me, I'm a very honorable guy. I'm pro-life, but I changed my view a number of years ago. One of the primary reasons I changed [was] a friend of mine's wife was pregnant, and he didn't really want the baby. He was crying as he was telling me the story. He ends up having the baby and the baby is the apple of his eye. It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to him. And you know here's a baby that wasn't going to be let into life. And I heard this, and some other stories, and I am pro-life.

Q: So those stories did change you, they came around and changed you?

A: They changed me. Yeah, they changed my view as to that, absolutely.

I am pro-life; fight ObamaCare abortion funding:

Billionaire Donald Trump told the Conservative Political Action Conference that he's thinking about running for president. His remarks drew lots of applause and cheers from the crowd, who will play a key role in grass-roots organizing for the eventual 2012 GOP presidential nominee. "I'm well acquainted with winning," Trump said. "That's what this country needs now."

New York values:
1. The inability to abstain from being an
absolute ass.
2. Devoid of moral character, more of a hive mentality controlled by peer pressure and lack of self respect.
3. Having a big mouth and nothing to back it up.
4. Socialism.
