A widower of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks is inviting Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to Ground Zero in order to show him what "New York values" look like.
NYPD officer Jim Smith, husband of fallen police officer Moira Smith, sent the invitation in a Facebook post on Thursday after Cruz attacked Republican primary front-runner Donald Trump for embodying "New York values."
"I invite you to come to the National 9-11 Memorial and Museum and see for yourself, and perhaps learn something about, the values of New Yorkers and the Heroes who defended American values on September 11th, 2001," Smith said in the post, as first reported by the Daily Beast.
Trump responded in a similar fashion at Thursday night’s Republican primary debate, invoking the 9/11 attacks and calling the statement "very insulting" to New Yorkers.

Maybe she can invite the mayor who placed mosques off limits to cops too. Because those are what TODAY’s NY values look like. NYC pissed all over the memory of 3000 people electing an open muslim sympathiser in NYV and to the presidency.

How many retired New Yorkers live in Florida? Florida is an important state in election.
This "New York values" door swings both ways. Any state would have responded to a 9/11 event like NYC did. No special kudos given on this account.
However, there are many fewer states that would elect socialists, communists, carpetbaggers, and criminals (in the state legislature), while being wholly antagonistic to the second amendment.
Cruz was right.
But, but, he believes his candidate is so much better....zealots on either side leave a bad taste, they forget who the enemy really is.
