Lupica is a New York liberal, yet Trump will like this because he always attacks conservatives from the Left. Why? One, he doesn’t really know conservative values, and he certainly would never apply them to himself. Two, all values for Trump are situational. If being a liberal won’t get him to be president, why not pretend you’re a conservative? Three, having no core values, Trump sees no irony in him spouting Liberal talking points as if they should come out a Republican mouth. In fact, Trump is not really one of us. He doesn’t even play one of us on TV. There he plays himself as a lout.
