A federal appeals court appears poised to issue a ruling that could complicate and prolong the litigation morass surrounding Hillary Clinton's use of a private email account during her tenure as secretary of state.
A D.C. Circuit three-judge panel hearing arguments in an unrelated dispute over the emails of White House science and technology adviser John Holdren strongly signaled Thursday that it plans to overturn a district court ruling that emails in Holdren's personal account are beyond the reach of the Freedom of Information Act.

I don’t think the FBI needs a FOIA to gather evidence. They’ve got the freaking email server. That should have all of her emails.

Well, yes - but it's ALL SO COMPLICATED.
Of course, if you, a mere peasant, had done the same thing, the United States Attorney would have already brought the hammer down, hundreds of felony counts, and charge-larded a few dozen other counts just for laughs.
You'd have already plea-bargained it down to a hundred years or so in Federal Slam-You-In-The-@ss Prison, and you'd just be stepping off the bus to meet your new friends.

I meant to follow that phrase with the words, “If she’s ever indicted”.
I'm wondering if someone can sentence her to life in a locked house with her so-called *husband. No concubine visitors for either of them. That maybe punishment enough.
