It’s a quick reference.

There is such a thing as a presumptive heir. I don’t know the age difference is between the two cousins..but even if it is one day..Churchill is the presumptive heir until the elder has a son. Daughter didn’t count.

If Churchill had accepted the Duke of London from the Queen- he would have been nobility AND eligible to run for POTUS if Cruz can.

Interesting...but I just looked up the family line and something doesn’t add up to make WC a presumptive heir to the dukedom...
The 8th Duke (WC’s dad’s elder bro) became Duke in 1883 and his heir was born in 1871...WC was born in 1874 so there was never a time that the 8th Duke didn’t have his heir present...and that heir became the 9th in due time.
