I’m not disagreeing with you, and you are right about Trump having no particular allegiance. I’m simply stating what I see at the current moment. For many conservatives, at this point, Trump looks like the best chance to beat the PIAPS and oddly many of the hacks trying to elect the PIAPS, including the MSM, think the bombastic Trump is their best bet for her to win.

I think that may be why they went after Cruz tonight, with the NY question and letting the others take shots at Cruz. The PIAPS and her army are starting to worry about Cruz. Over the last month Cruz has been gaining momentum and I think they are now worried, he will really appeal to true conservatives and he may very well have a better chance to beat the bitch.

You and Trump lose all credibility when you quote Al Gore’s lawyer on the issue.

The Constitution does not define the meaning of the phrase, but the meaning is clear. It has absolutely nothing to do with geography and everything to do with birth. Are you a citizen naturally at birth without needing to immigrate here or not? Cruz was.

Even if Cruz loses this primary, he will get another chance in 4 years after Trump loses this election, as the polls have nearly always shown Trump would against Hillary or Sanders. If people want to hand the election to Hillary and get Cruz later instead of now, that’s their foolish choice.

People start voting on who won the debate on the Drudge Report an hour before the debate starts. That’s as bogus as it gets.

Want to point out which ones have proven wrong? Probably not.

None. I was saying that two stories were up yesterday that Mrs. Cruz was an active voter in Canada. Canada does not confer voting rights to anyone who is not a Canadian citizen.

If two stories are false, I will stand corrected.

Riiiight, and I’m sure no illegal immigrant in the U.S. ever voted either. Do they check ID in Canada or do they just let anyone vote like they do here?

And you know damn well that if you’re a U.S. citizen who was born here and lived here for years but then move to live overseas, your child born there is a U.S. citizen too. You don’t have to make your baby apply for an immigrant or tourist visa to bring them back.

Yes your are, your saying my children are ineligible to be POTUS because they were born in Berlin, Germany. I consider it taking away a right. I think that I earned the right to have my children equal to anyone born in the 50 states.

Trump is perceived as the best chance for Hillary and there is no doubt all his attention has gained enough support that polling republicans would give Trump an advantage, especially is they were tea party republicans.

Why not put Carson in the lead for that matter if they polls are rigged, would be your next question? The results they end up with have to be within reason given the people they are calling. With the lack of attention Carson is getting, calling even tea party republicans would not garner enough support to put Carson ahead of Trump.

So yes the polls have to be within reason, but are not a true reading of what is really happening. Who they are calling is the determining factor.

Carson would go through government money faster than a brush fire.

I'll have to study up more on Carson. Thanks

It i a matter of interpretation that is not up to me. The constitution needs to be interpreted by the Federal courts, its a Federal question. I did not write it. It was written 226 years ago. If the people want to change it there is a process to do that.

...”Very interesting analysis you’ve stated in your posts. Thanks”....

Just keeping an eye on the left hand....

Something else being rumored ....What if after the primaries a third party candidate ‘steps up’...???? ....(Bloomberg???).....there are significant persons who have been looking into this prospect because they are not happy with either parties candidates.....especially since the public outcry against insiders has rung so loud..... Rumor mill already is two gay guys and someone named Heffner want to throw the election by splitting the Republican vote....which is right out of the liberal playbook.

Others thinking Bloomberg might run...with a few other names being tossed around and persons considering.

We know Demorats aren’t happy with either Hillary or Sanders ....and the Republicans aren’t happy about Cruz and Trump. It’s not so far fetched to think they might try and get a 3rd party to run for them.

This entire election is weird and so anything should be expected to Happen along the way. Frankly sometimes it seems like the Armies of heaven are fighting and we’re seeing it play out here in the world.

-- It i a matter of interpretation that is not up to me. The constitution needs to be interpreted by the Federal courts, its a Federal question. --

The rule of law is not as harsh or black and white as is casually discussed. The place of birth isn't exactly the relevant input. US citizenship tracks state citizenship, and state citizenship tracks domicile. Where you live is not always where you are. If your child is a citizen of the state of the parents domicile, under state law, then it is born a citizen of the state you are domiciled in, which makes the child an Art IV, Sec. 2 citizen of the US. If the child is born in the US, then it is both an Art IV, Sec. 2 and 14th amendment citizen of the US.

Natural Born is a specific term that cannot be changed by State law or even Federal Statute. It must be interpreted by Federal Court under Federal question jurisdiction.
