Cruz’ mother never lost her U.S. citizenship so whether she became a Canadian citizen or not is irrelevant. Ted Cruz was born a dual citizen either way due to birthright citizenship in Canada. He renounced his Canadian citizenship before running for President.

There is a much stronger court challenge to be made against Rubio being a citizen than there is against Cruz. Trump was saying over and over about birthright citizenship during the anchor baby debate that his lawyers said they don’t need a constitutional amendment to stop anchor babies because the law shouldn’t be allowing them as it is.
Even Trump has not been as forceful against Cruz’ issue. Saying a baby of a U.S. citizen is born as an illegal is a much more ridiculous notion than saying a baby born to two illegals who sneak in is not a citizen. The latter should not be a citizen and no U.S. citizens privileges are infringed upon in that case like they would be to Cruz’ mom if he was born as an automatic illegal.
Oh no, the results are exactly as they expected. Trump is leading, but the actual numbers are probably anywhere from 5 - 10 % in one direction or another.
Maybe I wasn’t clear in my explanation, they do not call a random 900 people out of the phone book. They are calling people they already have some information on. I know because I have sold millions and millions of those records to very large companies in the political industry. They didn’t pay for all that information for nothing.

Not to worry. As Cruz’ numbers collapse more, the whole birther issue will disappear, but he is going nowhere by loosely constructing the Constitution on his own citizenship. Cruz is not the authority on what is actually an open constitutional question.
This is why his two constitutional law scholars say Cruz is a hypocrite. Cruz has always argued for strict originalist interpretation of the Constitution. This means it would not matter what Congress said naturalization means, but according to the Founders in the early 1800’s, what it means.
Now, Cruz, on his own naturalization, he is quite *liberally* interpreting the Constitution to serve his own interests, on what according to Lawrence Tribe and Alan Dershowitz is an OPEN CONSTITUTIONAL QUESTION, and even the Supreme Court will be divided on the question.
Cruz has peaked. Brace yourself.
You will be discredited on that, of that I am sure. Maybe your credibility can take the hit, but just friendly advice, you don't need that fact, and you don't want that fact. Call it an article of informed faith on my part. I don't have any evidence to show you, and i don't know for a fact that evidence is forthcoming; but I believe evidence is forthcoming.
Trump has no particular allegiance...his history shows he can move to either side and willing to do that to obtain whatever 'he's' looking to gain. That's advantageous to the Demorat/Republican Stronghold in Washington.....
But Cruz isn't about ready to yield to them and they know it all to well having been tangling with him since he arrived in the Senate.......in fact he;ll expose them all the more and do whatever is necessary to rid Washington of these Vernon....so of course they don't want Cruz to even get close to being President.
I'm a Christian and believe fully this is our last opportunity to get this right.....God has given us a man well equipped in every area to do this job we've asked of God to give this nation...another chance. It will be up to us to vote for him.
Cruz wants to take the country back out of the establishments hands and back under Constitutional Laws and operations of....Trump sees thru the eyes of business and therefore simply wants business to grow and make deals to achieve that, which by itself will not get this nation to where it needs to be. ...and he will work with the stronghold there as he's been associated with them in hte past.
Well isn't that convenient. If he hadn't could be still be eligible? I'd be interested to know why or why not. I mean if he is a NBC why should it matter if he had Canadian citizenship? Something seems a little out of kilter.
You don’t need to have a living father at all to be a U.S. citizen. You’re the one who doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Please list all the people you know who were deemed non-U.S.-citizens at birth who were born to one U.S. citizen parent.
You know damn well that military births are protected as citizens.
I don’t think it matters but obviously it eliminates any question that he would have any loyalty to Canada as a dual citizen. Since he hadn’t lived there since before he can probably remember it was just a formality.

I did not say that she RENOUNCED her American citizenship, but she was a Canadian voter and voting rights in Canada are extended only to Canadian citizens and not squatters from other countries who have lumbered into the country and found a job.
Your position was entirely clear. What you failed to explain is why the pollsters want to show Trump in the lead. Why not Rubio?
The constitution literally says, "The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States." Subtly different from exactly "where were you born," but figuring out citizenship on just where you were born, while it works most of the time, doesn't work all of the time.
Figuring citizenship from the (state) citizenship of the parents covers traveling, and assorted other things.

What proof do you have of his mother being a Canadian Citizen? It’s unlikely because Cruz was issued a US Passport and was not naturalized to get it. Even if she was made a Canadian citizen after his birth, that does invalidate his citizenship.
