Another round of eagerly awaited GOP debates will take place live January 14 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina, airing on the FOX Business Network and streaming live on FOXBusiness.com.
The first debate, scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET start will be moderated by anchors Trish Regan and Sandra Smith. Four GOP candidates will be featured, including former HP (HPQ) CEO Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.
The second debate, which is slated for a 9 p.m. ET start, will be moderated by Anchor/Managing Editor of Business News, Neil Cavuto and Anchor/Global Markets Editor Maria Bartiromo. Candidates at the podium for the later debate will be: real estate mogul Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Ohio Governor John Kasich and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

When I first heard about the stupid Cruz NY thing, on Wednesday, my head exploded....as you can imagine. His doubling down on it, tonight, made a bad situation much worse! My friends and family are NOT happy about this at all.

I believe Cruz is eligible to become POTUS but Trump is right to get this settled asap. I am not sure how he can

She had voting rights in Canada and was active. Voting rights in Canada are never extended to an American
“citizen”, but only to Canadian citizens.
You need to get informed. There were two stories up yesterday on the Cruz parents voting rights in Canada.

She was not a Canadian citizen. You don’t lose your U.S. citizenship just because you take a job working in another country for a couple years. You have an extremely ignorant notion of the fragility of U.S. citizenship. It’s much harder to lose than you think.
He isn’t and neither are Rubio, Jindal, and Nikki Haley.
Probably the only reason they would take Trump over Cruz is kaching! rating$.

I thought you might be a reasonable person, but misread your post. In a society as rich as ours, everyone should be able to get medical care and not have to lose everything they have.
You make it sound like I’m expecting everyone to get a free ride at someone else’s expense. I believe people have a responsibility to have some insurance and yes those costs would increase in a reasonable fashion as they age. I also said people who do not buy insurance, should not expect someone else to fit the bill if they get very ill. They would risk losing all their assets, because they are not contributing.
A compassionate society can find the means to pay for their sick without bankrupting them. Have you ever read about St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the millions raised to help children fighting cancer.
Or was that just tough luck in the lottery of life, someone’s kid got cancer, so they should spend everything they own trying to save their child?

When was the law written that said if you’re pregnant, you better be careful never to travel overseas, because if your child is born overseas, he will be considered an illegal immigrant when you bring him back?
His mother moved from back Canada a couple years after he was born and did not have to ‘re-apply.’ She never stopped being a legal U.S. citizen.
One thing I have learned about the Chinese mindset, b/c I have dealt with enough of them - they are all arrogant bluster UNTIL you get right in there face and give ‘em what for ... then they shrink to half their size and slink away.

We are not taking away the right of people to be citizens. This is about a constitiutional, unique requirement for the President of the United States. And it is what it is, just like the 2nd amendment. We can pass a constitutional amendment if we don’t like it.
Why did we care where Obama was actually born since his mother was a US Citizen. Under a liberal meaning of NBC he could have been born in Kenya...no problem!
We are going to have some real interesting debates when these same characters take up who should be a citizen.
Not true. Only one parent has to be a citizen.
