No, Cruz is making a valid point - NY City is a hotbed of LIBERAL values. AND Trump has boasted of sharing those values not long ago. Remember - Trump was praising Hillary and Obama in 2009. That was 6.5 years ago...
NY Values. 80% for Obama in 2012.
~~Well, thereâs another way to look at this. You donât go after someoneâs mother.~~
Oh Please. Obama’s momma has been hammered here so long if she were gold she could gilt a battleship.
Trump played the sympathy card. Sure... the buildings got knocked down and the place smelled like death for a while. That doesn’t mean New York has conservative values
Cruz has no chance in NY in a general so what he gains from this in fly over country for such comments is a greater gain than any cost in NY. I think he scored far more than he lost with his comments.
I worked on Wall Street, just blocks from the WTC, knew people who died their and their parents. I am shocked a thoughful guy like Cruz showed such regional prejudice.
I have lived in five states from the northeast south, southwest and west, and everyone I met I have treated as a fellow American. Yeah they heard my northeast accent and mostly we treated eachother as fellow Americans. Too bad Ted. When I lived in Texas I was a Texan, and I would punch or choke out anyone who Messed With Texas. Sorry Ted you donââ¬â¢t feel we all bleed Red White and Blue.
I worked for Rudy Guilianiââ¬â¢s mayoral campaigns even though he is way more liberal than me. Rudy was a great leader, and Mayor.
Nothing wrong with Rudyââ¬â¢s New York ways, he took a city that suffered the loss of thousands of folks, injuries to first responders and over $100 billion in property and business losses just the first year alone.
I watched with heartache the endless funerals, the endless digging for human remains. We all bleed Red White and Blue. My Father and Uncleââ¬â¢s who served like me in the Navy and Army, saved America lives and won WWII for all Americans. And on the day they died they were buried with an American Flag, with honor guards not with a New York Flag.
Funny thing My wife Is a big Cruz Supporter, sent him several contributions. I had hoped he and Trump could be cordial and we would see an Trump/ Cruz ticket, or maybe Trump would appoint him a Supreme court justice.
this remark doesnât make sense given his wife worked for Goldman Sachs, you donât get any more New York than that do you. I am sure she isnât happy about how this remark reflects on her.
You know sometimes you say something you wish you could take back? This is one of those events.
Because Trust Fund Donnie NEVER attacks people! lol.
Hank
Who cares, NY is gone anyway. Just look at their idiotic politics and who they elect!!!!
Forget NY, Trump couldn’t even carry it.
Yep Cruz keeps closing the door on groups of people, he can’t win this way...he just isn’t ready for a national election. New York will go Trump.
You need to read the 1790 act
I don’t think anyone has ever had it clarified to run
It is the only founders use of the term natural born
And it specifically claims father has to be a citizen if child born abroad
To be a regular citizen it only takes one parent to be a citizen if born abroad
The Dems will bring suit for clarification better to get a ruling now
Romney had two US citizen parents
McCain as well both parents US citizens and he may have been born on US Canal Zone land I’m not sure
Goldwater too I think and born on US territory
Cruz had a dad with Cuban and Canadian citizenship at least and a US mom and was born on foreign soil and I think was a Canadian citizen as a boy till he moved here even though he qualified at birth as US citizen
But is he a natural born citizen per the founders design?
I’m not sure
I support Cruz or Trump but I’d rather know now than later and I think it’s a legitimate question
So far all I see if huff and puff over it even from sources I usually agree with
No one seems capable to be impartial and really figure it out
It’s just sound and fury
Why don’t you shut up. Not Jane.
How did he insult Buckley?
Stop going for the kibble the toss.
I admit that was a bad card to play but Texans and Nyawkers play rough
Shut up Jeb.
I used to live in Boston and while we have our Red Sox/Yankees rivalry, we loved New York up there in general and now that I’m in New York, the feeling is mutual. This goes way beyond sports.
Cruz took a major self-inflicted blow at tonight’s debate.
This will never go away for him. He should have played it more safe tonight but he went out on a limb.
REAGAN.
And then they elect hitlery to the senate. Those are ny values.
Cruz just played the card of Trump's previous positions (Russert interview.)
That is a whole new can of worms and it's about time.

Trump slapped down Cruz.
Jeb looks like Admiral Stockdale up there. “Who am I? Why am I here?”
