It makes me crazy. There are A LOT of intelligent, educated, informed Constitutional Conservative women. I say that with conviction, just from my experience on Free Republic. But who do the elitist establishment Republicans move into the HOR, US Senate, and governorships? Total tools who don't have a clue or total vision of what conservatism is. Heck, I wonder if they even care?
Kelli Ayotte, Susan Collins, Elizabeth Dole, Nicki Haley, Sue Martinez, Lisa Murkowski, etc etc. I can only conclude that the Republican elite fear what a REAL conservative patriotic woman would accomplish!
Last thing I want to hear is "why don't I run for office then"? Might have taken that direction if the Republican Party back when I was in my 40s in MA the Republican Party was moving up people (men and women) they could control, not people with principles.
Is there a list of conservative women who don't want big government? I don't know any.
