Russia Today, in terms of being an unbiased news source, is probably only slightly worse than the soon to be shuttered Al Jazeera America. Their spin on pretty much everything is the same: blame America, but do it in a way which makes it look slightly more like actual news than Vladimir
Putinâs personal propaganda bureau. Some of their previous employees have grown tired of the biased Kremlin advertising and taken the rare path of turning down a job in the media. As Jim reminds us, one of RTâs anchors famously had a drop the mic moment and walked off the job, being unwilling to shill for the Kremlin any more.
Another member of state-funded Russia Today made waves on Wednesday â not by standing behind Moscow, as the news network is wont to do, but by bucking it.
From the anchor chair, Liz Wahl closed a show â as seen in video which she later tweeted â talking about the âethical and moral challengesâ she faces working for Russia Today, also known as RT. She spoke of being from a family who fled to America to escape Soviet forces during the 1956 Hungarian revolution, being the daughter of a U.S. military veteran and being the partner of a physician who works at a U.S. military base.
âAnd that is why, personally, I cannot be part of a network funded by the Russian government that whitewashes the actions of Putin,â Wahl said, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
âIâm proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth,â she added. âAnd that is why, after this newscast, Iâm resigning.â

“Ed Shot his dog!”
Probably just like CNN,NBC< ABC<CBS
“He’s A Wife-Beater And Dog Killer”
http://mrssatan.blogspot.com/2009/04/msnbc-airs-ed-schultz-program-hes-wife.html
Ed conveniently had his divorce records sealed before he went national. I wonder how much his ex-wife Maureen got from him for that bit of a cover-up?
Ed should feel right at home there.
He’ll have to move right for that gig.
Ed shot his dog! Ed shot his dog!
That one never get’s old! We will never forget!
Whoooosh!!! -the sound a whiskey bottle makes as it flies through the air.
Slap! Slap! Slap! -the sound of Ed’s hand as it strikes his wife

Now RT has lost all credibility!
If you follow Russia Today on Twitter they usually are the first to report Breaking News. CNN use to be but RT beats them quite frequently now. Wherever in the world it happens. Bias? No bias on the US MSM. No sir.
Special Ed is still struggling to achieve the audience he once had when he was reading high school football and hockey scores on the local news in Fargo, North Dakota.
Obama ate his dog.
Eds at home in the reincarnation of “ Pravda”
“Now RT has lost all credibility!”
You mean they actually had some?
I think he’s too liberal for them.
Rt is interesting to watch sometimes and i can respect the Russian presenters for what they are, but any Americans working there are borderline traitors in my opinion.
RT may be the first for other stories because they are trying to find fault with others but they sure aren’t the first for stories that reflect badly on Russia.
RT is Kleptocracy Media for the regime.
Isn’t Tom Hartmann on there, too? I’m not sure it’s shocking if so. (Hartmann is a peerless piece of work).
