Doubts about ground campaign ahead of caucuses
DES MOINES, Iowa - With a close race here between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz hinging on turnout for the Republican presidential caucuses in just 18 days, Trump supporters are taking matters into their own hands with a grass-roots GOTV effort.
But Mr. Trump's supporters, many of them new to the process and excited by the billionaire businessman's unconventional run, said they don't have to be prodded to attend the caucuses.
Roger Hollingsworth, 22, said he has independently arranged to carpool three van-loads of his Trump-enthusiast friends to a caucus site.

I don’t think Trump supporters need someone to knock on their door and drag them out to vote. It appears like they will be standing line before the polls open. I guess we shall see soon enough.

The candidate with the best organization and ground game is Cruz.
Yes, and what it has wrought is TRUMP leading by five in one poll, within MOE (tied) in a second poll, and 1/2 of one point behind Cruz in a third poll.
That vaunted Cruz ground game is up against a couple weeks of TRUMP ads, and this is the results. Cruz needed a game.
Methinks, TRUMP is very likely to pull a win out even in odd IOWA!
Then, it’s onto a TRUMP sweep.
Bingo. People willing to stand in line in the pouring rain for five hours to see a Trump speech don’t need to be prodded to go to the polls. Trump is also likely to get a flood of cross-over votes. The only problem is, WILL THEY BE COUNTED?
Yes Trump supporters are revved up. I cannot wait to vote for Trump. Nothing but the dirt nap can keep me from it. :-)
So? It seems like the Trump supporters do not need that to be ready and eager to vote. They are doing it on their own. Go Trump.
Trump will fight the fraud that no one else had nerve to do.
