This form does not disclose the purpose of the loan and is not the FEC document required by law. You know that and are hoping nobody will know.
It’s this type of dissembling half truths that got so many FReepers off the Cruz train during TPA. My advice is to stop it. It doesn’t help your candidate.

Senator Principled Conservative is clean as the wind driven snow. I half expect to hear soon that Cruz was dabbling in cattle futures at GS. I’m sure his supporters will have a good response to that also.
Cruz filed with FEC in 2011 when he launched his campaign. This loan was in 2012.
And yet, now some are claiming that Cruz is now saying it was disclosed but on the wrong line? So which is it?
This is TPA all over again. Team Cruz is changing their story every five minutes trying to get something to stick.
I don’t enjoy them and am really being turned off Trump now because of his followers. Face full of shit telling us Trumps shit does not stink. His past is off limits because he saw the light and is now the savior. He is a New York liberal period.

Stiffing the FEC looks intentional to me. This was a huge chunk of his campaign funding. No way they “forgot” it. Most likely his wife insisted on this loan structure and Cruz didn’t want to report the loan to the FEC because a huge pile of Government Sachs cash blew the cover on his “grass roots” campaign. He could have just cashed out the account and not used tainted Goldman money for his campaign. They got too cute by half and now right or wrong Cruz has his 47% moment on the eve of the Iowa Caucus.

Just give me the facts. A loan disclosed on a doc to the Senate is not the same thing nor does it require the same info.
And yes, people have been fined for bad FEC docs.
I want to see all the quarterly FEC docs.
A brilliant legal mind who misses one..MAYBE..(but I don’t believe it.)
But to miss more than one..no way.
He is required to file with the FEC. And there is damn good reason for this disclosure. And Rafael failed to report the Goldman Sachs loans.
Did he say publicly where the money came from?
Do you think they intentionally tried to hide it, by listing it on other disclosures?
