TWO GREAT COUNTRY LEGENDS

Country music is the music for much of working-class America, and for many of those who make up that great mass of humanity, 83-year-old Loretta Lynn is the reigning Queen of Country Music now that the great Kitty Wells is no longer with us. Last week, Lynn publicly announced that she was supporting Donald Trump for the presidency in 2016. In fact, she says she has been passing on that message of support to her audiences at the closing of her concerts for some time now, and it is being very well-received. What's more, the Coal Miner's Daughter, so named for her huge 1970 hit of the same name, has publicly invited Donald to give her a call if he wants her support for his campaign.
Now if Donald is smart – like a fox comes to mind – he ought to jump on that offer like the proverbial chicken on a June bug. A very large segment of working-class Americans, including many of those affiliated with politically corrupt, Democrat-controlled unions, are Reagan Democrats, especially in blue or purple states.

No surprise.
She has supported democrats.
At least she is consistent.

I saw her last year and she had to sit she couldn’t stand long enuff to do her songs. I first saw her in ‘71 and that little girl was making the windows rattle. She is an American Treasure.

They include former first lady Laura Bush, Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch, former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Sen. John McCain, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, Republican billionaire T. Boone Pickens, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Bush Treasury secretary Hank Paulson, and former first daughter Barbara Bush.
Romney spoke to CGI in the middle of his 2012 presidential campaign and praised President Clinton for having “devoted himself to lifting the downtrodden around the world. One of the best things that can happen to any cause, to any people, is to have Bill Clinton as its advocate.”
McCain spoke to CGI in September 2008 during his own presidential run, and also praised its efforts, stating: “You know something about great change at the Clinton Global Initiative, because you are striving every day to bring it about. I thank each one of you for the good work you have done to relieve suffering across the earth, and to spread hope. I thank you for the even greater works that you seek to accomplish in the years to come, under the leadership of the man from Hope.”
Laura Bush appeared at CGI in 2006 and said she was “delighted to be a part of this year’s Clinton Global Initiative. Thank you for inviting me, and thank you for the terrific development work you’re doing through your foundation.”

The lady is 83 years old, those were the times when there were Democrats who loved their country and socially conservative.
These type of Dems are slowly fading away.
Yep, and Billy Graham used to be a registered Democrat. Not sure if he still is or not.
Ah the excitement! An entertainer endorses a candidate, why is this news, how would we respond if she endorsed hillary or sanders............or God forbid bush!

Probably because any Celebrity endorsing a Republican is as rare as Obama’s real Birth Certificate and College Records.
