ConservativeReview.com, of which he is editor in chief, has published a piece (that Levin has tweeted a link to) that exposes Donald Trump's political inconsistencies, point by point.

Well, everybody knows Conservative Review is GOPe, right?

After all, the Trump people keep telling us that there are no inconsistencies or progressive tendencies in his record, and that only the Establishment claims there are. So Conservative Review must be RINO.

Obviously!

The headline is making everyone’s knees jerk.

Levin is clearly not ‘Declaring War’ on Trump.

Levin merely penned a point-by-point rebuttal. I haven’t seen it, but that’s what this article says. Since when is a rebuttal ‘war’?

More Headlies, but from our side this time. The headline doesn’t match the facts. I hate this stuff.

...the article talks about how Trump met with illegal alien activists in 2013 and said he was "convinced" to support amnesty. The article also quotes Trump saying he wanted to "expedite" the return of illegal aliens into the country and notes a quote that Trump simply had no opinion either way on the "Gang of 8" amnesty bill that Marco Rubio is being so criticized for.
Sure, you could ask, Was he lying then, or now?

But don't. You don't question the Great and Mighty Trump.

BWAAAAAHAHAHA, Mark Levin the conservative oracle for so many of us for so many years hammers Trump with the truth and he’s a traitor to the conservative cause, he’s beholden to “special interests”, he’s a fake, a liar and a probable pedophile.

If nothing else you Trumpees are truely entertaining to watch.

I consider Mark Levin to be one of the most staunch and intelligent conservatives out there. I truly respect his legal mind. It is no secret that he has been a Cruz supporter. I am too. I have seen a lot of hatred lately on our beloved Free Republic between the Trump supporters and the Cruz supporters. I want Cruz to be president more than anything. I had believed up to this point that Trump was paving the way for Cruz by getting the RINOs to drop out of the campaign. Trump’s talk of Cruz’ eligibility puts the issue out there before the left can make an issue of it. Nikki Haley’s BS rebuttal the other night was a clear indicator that the GOP-e is in full panic and attack mode. Her job was to rebut Obama, not attack a GOP candidate. Both the left and GOP-e want us to get distracted with crap so that either Hillary or a RINO like Bush gets elected. Please people. We can debate. We can disagree. But we have to keep our eye on the prize. Trump is by no means a conservative, but I would rather have him as president than what we now have or Hillary or the cheesy old socialist.

I know Levin never really dove into the Obama birther issue. And even after listening to his Cruz eligibility monologue, I am still not entirely convinced of Cruz being a ‘natural born citizen’, but since Obama is clearly not eligible, I do not care if Cruz does not meet the standard. Cruz loves America. He is not a marxist and he is not a muslim. I believe he will do the best for America.

All I am saying is let’s not get caught up in petty stuff and let this election get away from us. The picture of our sailors on their knees that the Iranians put out there is eerily reminiscent of 1980. That bastard Obama did not even mention this in his SOTU. Right now, I care about salvaging what’s left of our country.

Another Ed Straker TDS Trump article? Busy boy--churns out at least one a day.

Take a breath, Mr. Straker, you'll somehow survive President Trump.

Mark Levin is not the end all be all of the Constitution. He practically scoffs at the 10th amendment.

Sometimes Levin is right and sometimes he’s wrong. I remember when he loved Rubio like a fat girl loves candy. Now he’s on the Cruz bandwagon. Who knows where he will be next week.

Don’t have time to read all the replies now, though I will tomorrow, but Mark has himself a bit of a pickle:

More than once, he has had Tom DeLay on his show, as a good solid conservative, who was railroaded by Dems. True. He also vouched for him by way of asking his listeners donate to the DeLay legal defense fund.

But we have all seen Tom DeLay’s thoughts about this whole Cruz thing. I expect Levin to turn on DeLay. But DeLay is just one of many TX voters who is probably ticked off that Cruz never bothered to mention this before, including while running for the Senate.

Mark has this fantasy about some uber-conservative will suddenly win a US presidential election in 2016. Bless his heart, he doesn’t see that many of the changes the Dems worked on are now permanent. The best chance Ted Cruz has of being POTUS, are after 2 terms of Trump. When Trump has demonstrated to the country that just because you have an “R” next to your name, that you aren’t the boogie-man, Cruz will be able to slide in, all while pulling the nation to the right. Think of Reagan-Bush in reverse.

Levin is now trying to make excuses why being born in Canada is no big deal; tonight why Cruz’ financial thing was wrong —remember Levin thinks this is the smartest cat in the room. But he can’t figure out how to properly fill out a financial disclosure nor conveniently forgot he had Canadian citizenship.

I feel sorry for ML right now; his credibility is oozing away. He is beginning to remind me of some of the Obamabots.

I stopped listening to Levin a couple of years ago. When the NBC questions were aimed at Obama, Levin acknowledged he didn’t really know nor had he researched deeply the topic, but he was against anyone being questioned on their NBC status.

Levin warned his listeners and his Facebook and other online followers not to dare raise the topic or they’d be cut off. In other words, he didn’t want to engage in a topic he had a strong opinion on, but minimal knowledge. Somehow I just couldn’t respect that.

Also, I was irritated by his endless bragging about being part of the Reagan Administration, promoting his books, his father’s book, his daughter’s singing, his dogs, etc., etc. AND his promoting Hillsdale College for your kids and/or mine, but sending his kids elsewhere. In toto, just not worth listening to.

If this is true (headlines like this always doubtful) then may the Donald take Levin’s objections in stride and use them to improve himself, not as cannon fodder

I really like Levin, but his Birther rants have become impossible to listen to. Maybe after the primaries are over.

Levin is a conservative of the first order. Why would he not favor Cruz over Trump?

Levin is good guy and a warrior, but I came to the conclusion that if after seven years of Obama’s inept and destructive tenure as president, the country just isn’t hungry for a principled conservative leader.

At this point, it’s about “conservative enough.”

A lot of people on our side will not have the maturity and clarity to see this. Levin is one of them.

The Trumpsters haven’t figured out that he is purposefully destroying the conservative movement. Mark has finally come to terms with it, soon Rush will too. It’s doubtful that the rank and file Trumpsters will figure it out before Iowa.
Yes, Trump is right about many of the issues, especially immigration. But, he doesn’t believe a word he is saying. He is now and has always been a liberal Democrat.
I’m angry at the RINOs in the establishment too, but not to the point of electing a phony.
