That was a funny story about being tree’d.

Yes, I know about playing role reversal games. I’ll roll on the floor shrieking, with my arms and hands shielding my face so the ferocious attack dogs don’t lick me to death as they climb over me. Dogs are easily amused.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some expert “dog whisperer” criticized my confusing the dogs’ sense of dominance. Baloney, my dogs know who the Alpha is.

The Wonder Dobe of my youth invented a game wherein he became invisible.

With great melodrama, I humored him, searching everywhere and calling his name.

His nub would nearly fly off in smug joy, and eventually he’d erupt from his invisibility mode and knock me flat, with much face nuzzling and kissing, apparently overjoyed to be back on this plane, again.

It’s been 41 years and not a day goes by that I do not grieve his passing.

Few are fortunate enough to be blessed with a dog like him.

Ignore the “experts”.

You know your dog’s soul better than they.
