A new twist has appeared in the legal attempts to attack the IDF for defending the maritime blockade of Gaza in the infamous 2010 Mavi Marmara incident, as radical activists sued Israel for "breaching US territory" in the raid.
Three Americans and a Belgian who took part in the breach of the naval blockade launched a civil suit to a US federal court on Monday in Washington, reports The New Arab on Wednesday. The blockade is a legal measure according to international law meant to prevent the influx of weapons to Gazan terrorists.
Aside from suing the Israeli government for injuries allegedly suffered during the IDF raid after the Marmara flotilla refused repeated requests to turn around, the four put a new spin on their lawsuit, noting that they were on a US-registered ship. ...

You are totally right.
War is hell. It is 100 times worse than anyone who has not fought in one can imagine.
That said, all that is done to make war more “humane” only serves to lengthen it. Anyone who thinks this is not war has their head so far into rectal defilade they need a plate glass window in their stomach to see where they are going.
With 7.62 rather than rubber bullets, not only would these four not still be causing trouble, but the next ones might have decided not to mess with the Israelis, or us.
Islamic jihadists, and those who support them, have publicly announced they want to kill all Christians and Jews. They regularly take action in concurrence with that announcement.
We have but one course of action; kill them before they kill us, and in the process dissuade those that would follow them.
That’s not “nice,” but it is reality.
