I have never seen either political party use the SOTU rebuttal to go after candidates of their own party.

Absolute incontrovertible proof the GOP is in cohoots with the Democrats to destroy our country.

Sometimes Rush gets it wrong. This is raw hubris, blind ambition and greedy corruption on Nikki's part. She's been paid off, with a great big payoff. She's buttering her exit from the guv mansion with a slide into RNC power.

Does anyone remember that she owes her office to Sarah Palin?

This Fall, if the GOPE nominates another RINO, I don’t want to hear any of this crap about how we need to “hold our nose.” ENOUGH! I am done voting for RINOs and will stay home.

It means Haley is a co-opted RINO, probably promised a high paying job as a lobbyist in Washington in the near future.

Haley is a Willardbot. That’s all we need to know about her agenda.

Somewhere in the past election cycle I got the impression that Hayley was one of the good guys. Boy, was I wrong. Last night was a big disappointment and then the news of the different Spanish presentation for Univision that alluded to opening the amnesty door really set me off.

Have the FR Trump-haters come down from the roof yet where they were rejoicing over Nikki's speech?

Seriously, I think her speech perfectly and eloquently says what all the Trump-haters post serially on FR.

We shall know them (the Freepers with TDS) by the company (Nikki) they keep.

Nikki Haley is exactly what is wrong with “native born” citizens versus a natural born citizen, born in the States, from two American parents. She, as most of us do, has her parent’s viewpoint of the world which they brought with them from India. They were here legally, but not citizens, when Nikki was born. So although she was born here, is a native citizen, she is more of an anchor baby than natural born. I don’t know where people come off saying she’d make a good V.P. choice...she is one such another with secondary citizenship and should never be Vice President as she could not become Prez if anything happened to that Prez. However, if Congress ever brings it to the Supreme Court, I’d finally like a ruling on this one way or the other.

It means the Trump-haters on FR are BUSTED. Nikki is their champion. They are stealth GOPe. They support the GOVERNMENT CLASS, the donor class, the oligarchy, and will say and do anything to preserve the power of the professional politicians.

She is truly one of the most disgusting politicians I have ever seen, including Hillary Clinton. I just watched her on Greta and she is so full of herself she is going to vomit her own head. She said, “this is the presidential way”........what is she running?

It’s simple. She has been paid to support your daughters rape. That’s all.

What a disgusting display of a woman RHINO liar. Haley said : “Trump is definitely contributed to irresponsible talk, but going after Obama, that’s just not my style.” Well, Nikki, how can you do it to Trump and not Obama? So you use your platform to attack the republican front runner and refuse to attack Obama who has RUINED this country....No, you are just another lying traitor Haley~! We see “who’s” side you are really on~!”

And they've set up a firewall in South Carolina to stop Trump. And that's what Nikki Haley was doing last night. Nikki Haley is the establishment of the firewall in South Carolina where the establishment's gonna put the brakes on and bring all this Trump stuff to a screeching halt.

Trump has already had some huge rallies in SC. He should go down there, and start going after Haley personally. Mention that she has some marital problems like Bill Clinton. That the people in her state don't want to be overrun with illegal aliens, and don't want to have women raped by Muslim refugees. Get the people chanting and cheering. Do it all over the state. I bet Nikki Haley will shut up. And maybe the GOPe losers from other states will start getting the message, too.

"There was a story from TheHill.com yesterday that 20% of Democrats would defect and vote for Trump. Trump's support comes from all over the spectrum... which is wha... the Republican Party said was their objective. And this is why they... say, 'We can't win the presidency with just Republican votes alone. There aren't enough of 'em. We gotta go out and... peel off some Democrats... some independents.'

"Well, there's a guy that's done it, and they don't want it. They don't want it! Nikki Haley made it clear last night they...don't want Trump, they don't want the people supporting Trump, they don't want the way Trump has done it. But nobody can make the argument that Trump is a conservative in the same way the Republican base is conservative. So the rejection of Trump is not specifically because he's part of the base and the GOP resents or is embarrassed by or doesn't want its base to be dominant.

"Trump brings something entirely different to this, and they're not interested."

-- Rush Limbaugh

This is just what I was saying to you last night:

[Sununu] is setting up the straw man that to be a registered Republican, one must have impeccable conservative credentials, even though poll after poll has shown that conservatism per se is a minority of around 40% of our electorate, within which an extreme conservative faction of around 10% or more are too pure to vote for insufficiently conservative candidates (most of whom seem to post on this Forum), leaving a group of around 30% potential conservative voters who would actually vote for a more moderate candidate. So how does he propose that Republicans make up the difference to actually win a national race like the presidency -- especially since we do not have a one man-one vote pure democracy, so a wide margin needs to be built in to account for the Electoral College system that protects us from mob rule.
