You can watch it on YouTube. I saw it there from a link in a thread posted here on FR at the time. I did not understand the exchange to be an endorsement as much as a polite gesture by a Christian man not wanting to unduly embarrass another person. YMMV

I remember when trump got all hot and bothered about ronda rousey a while back when he believed she supported him. Then she said she was for sanders and he could not stop trashing her.

These are two different people. Willie the son and CEO endorses Trump. Cruz got endorsed by Phil the father.

Willie hasn’t endorsed anyone since Jindal dropped out (that I have seen).
I personally do not view Mr Trump as a joke. I think he is as serious as a heart attack. I can see his appeal. He really is a very good business man. He tickles the ear very well. I'm just not sure I trust his honesty and his ego seems as fragile as the current resident of 1600. Time will no doubt sort it all out.

What do endorsements mean today? Nothing, if some dope thinks that because one guy or gal endorses someone and then that person votes because of that then it is no wonder why this country is a mess.

Gemerally not much, but it depends on wose it is.
As we have seen, trump has held sway over his supporters in large part due to his TV show. The cult of personality, if you will. Oddly enough there are quite a few folk that “religiously” follow the Robertson clan. Don’t think that this doesn’t strike a chord with them. It might cause a few to wake up from their stupor and begin to wonder if following this Pied Piper charlatan is such a wise move on their part.

I saw the quote, and went on a search for something in that direction. If it had Ted hunting moose, it would kinda work... but some bird fit the bill. Didn't see one with ducks, but I'd be surprised if Ted didn't hunt duck at one point or another.

You are not who is targeted. Obviously you possess a willingness to take the time to evaluate the field. Unfortunately there are plenty who don’t. The Super Tuesday primary is not far away and that is when the rubber REALLY hits the road. This ad is spot on for those in the South who are traditional in faith and family but may not focus on politics as acutely as those on FR.
