New tracking poll information from Reuters confirms Donald Trump as the frontrunner, but also breathes new life into the Jeb Bush campaign. As on Tuesday, Jeb Bush had moved into third place nationally, with 10.6 percent support.
Bush edges Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) by almost 4 points as Rubio has dropped into 5th place nationally. Since the first regular day of the New Year, January 4th, Bush has climbed more than 3 points while Rubio has lost 1 point.
Donald Trump continues to lead the GOP field with 39 percent support, down slightly for the week, but still far ahead of the other Republican candidates. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) remains in second with 14.5 percent support, up three points since the first of the year. Ben Carson is 4th with 9.6 percent support, continuing his drop from the end of 2015.
Bush has clearly benefited from his super PAC's spending millions on TV advertising as voting nears.

The testosterone-deficient segment of GOP males who are afraid of Trump are moving towards Bush in this poll.
Jeb is far from dead. He has multi-millions of $, the Media, and the GOPe apparatus behind him. Beware......
That’s easy for me. I detest Bush. Rubio’s just a tool and a pathetic wannabe for McCain and the rest of the so-called elites from both parties - assuming there ARE two parties.

If the voters overwhelmingly back Trump or Cruz, the GOP will either go full-tilt scorched earth, or back Cruz through the primaries, and then throw him to the wolves and totally abandon him, and aid the dems in destroying him, literally.

Older, marginally-formed, white male voters. I sat at a table across from six local businessmen at lunch today; all were older than me (I’m almost 60). All were extolling the virtues of Jeb Bush. At least two of them saw me roll my eyes a couple of times and at one point I looked at one of them with an expression that said, “You’ve got to be kidding”, loud and clear.
I’m sorry.....this just does not pass the smell test.
Jeb Bush has done absolutely NOTHING to impress ANYBODY as a candidate. He is indeed “low energy” and has no fewer than three brutal f**k-ups each and every week.
Marco at least is a smooth and glib talker. Had he refrained from the Gang of Eight sellout he very likely could be leading this race.
This is a clear outlier.
Jeb hasn’t polled consistently over 5% in months since the beginning of November.
I honestly don’t see how you could recover from that. ‘Hey little girl, let me pull out my pocket turtle.’

I’ve been watching this poll for a long time and it picked up the Trump, Cruz and Carson movement before the other polls. That’s why I’m worried about the Jeb numbers with squishy GOP testosterone-deficient men. Not good. Especially given Rubio’s inability to make any progress as well as Cruz’s drop with men.
Yeb’s doubled in a week? Sure. The Easter Bunny has been canvassing for him.
My wife and I purchased a house last year. When the address change forms were filled out, I changed from Repub to Independent.
