The head of Donald Trump's presidential campaign in Texas has left his post.
Corbin Casteel, who was named Trump's Texas state director in October, said Wednesday he has left the campaign, but declined to comment further. In an email, Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks confirmed the departure but offered no details.
It is unclear what now becomes of Trump's efforts in Texas with less than two months until the March 1 primary. Casteel had built a paid staff of four with an office in downtown Austin.
Another one butthurt that his boss is trying to win?
Wonder if someone paid him to leave?
You mean like Jeb??
Quote from man in question:
I donât know of anyone in the party who looks at him like a fellow Republican. Heâs an entertainer,â Republican consultant Corbin Casteel said of Trump in an August article in the San Antonio Express-News. I believe itâs a universal view that Donald Trump is a joke.

Do you? I wonder if someone paid him to come to the Trump campaign to begin with. Do YOU wonder about that?
And Trump went ahead and hired him...
Scratching me head over this.
Interesting Development
So this scumbags joins Trump’s team just for the money, and then bails.
Probably part of the backroom deal between Trump and Cruz, so that they have more synergy to combine for a ticket. Cruz has TX and Trump needs a strong presence so bring in Cruz for TX and the entire South. The GOPe hates them both so why not? And Cruz is just smart enough to have a Plan B and Trump is just smart enough to be 2-3 steps ahead on the strategy table. M2C.
See #5.
Per Politico from last October consultants are happy to take his money without supporting him. I found nothing on his twitter file that he ever uttered anything about DT.
Trump isn’t winning Texas, in all likelihood.

If you read the article they say this dude isn’t alone.
More proof GOPe is faking their disdain for Trump.
I once thought there might be come sort of long game cooperation plan. But, do not think so now. I believe Trump is in bridge burning mode.
Maybe start of Ben Carson Syndrome.
If you say so. I thought he was in it for the money.
Yeah
It may appear that way, but I don’t see him doing it, with all of his negotiation tactics, experience, etc. He has to be steps ahead or he is out character and flying blind, which I doubt. Can’t fully get my head around it, but i have a sense there is WAAY more to it than making it up as he goes.
