Yes, my opinion does matter to me, but in the big picture or to anyone else it does not matter.
I have already decided some time ago that Ted Cruz is qualified based upon being born to an American mother.
I’m not going to tell a person who was born with his American citizenship that he can’t run for president.
There are others in this country who think differently, and I expect that they will try every way they can to enforce there opinion on this.
Their reactions will range from voting for him anyway, to not voting for him out of principle, to attempting to persuade other voters that Cruz is not qualified.
What's wrong with that? If you want the issue "settled" somehow, don't bate your breath waiting.
I'm 100% sure Cruz isn't qualified. I give 80/20 odds SCOTUS would continue to follow its precedents that say the same thing. But I have no interest in persuading you against your finding that Cruz is an NBC. As far as you are concerned, Cruz is qualified, and that's it. Everybody will get to a point on one side or the other. That's part of the political process.
