Ted is no wimp and, without being insulting and rude and
taking up side issues with no relevance, he will make his case.

Cruz is a first rate appellate lawyer. Trump is a real estate developer/reality star.
Let’s see who has the right stuff.

I’ll go with the outsider who has built a global real estate empire and not the guy who has spent most of his adult life working in government.

Cruz is playing to win, as he should. And so should Trump. If both of them truly feel they
are the best leader for this particular time, then they should do what they must, within the
rule of civil and moral law, to win. This is a confidence our country needs.

The whole speech as reported here sounds great. Would love to have heard it because Cruz has great delivery as well as substance.

He’s ineligible to be POTUS or even Vice POTUS; He’s wasting his time and ours.

Two very different skill sets. Cruz would win hands down if this was a competition for a SCOTUS or AG nomination.

However, in a presidential race, Trump has the upper hand because his skill set connects with people on an emotional level.

BTW, I'm content if either is the nominee but don't think Cruz has the upper hand at this point.

Presidential election is always a popularity contest. Ideology, for the most part, is set aside.

We elected and reelected a full blown communist muslim because he could smile and tell jokes.

I’m happy with Trump or Cruz. But Cruz will have NBC issues. I still don’t underhand how a Canadian born Citizen can run for president. It seems absurd, but who knows. After an Islamist communist who came from Indonsia, we’re not virgins anymore.
