And it’s interesting that even given his sexuality or whatever, his general weirdness, he is so respected.

I made the case that while Bowie in the late 60s and the 70s, like many, questioned conventional lifestyles and experimented with alternative lifestyles, did wind up spending his last 20+ years as a devoted husband and family man. As if he realized after all the experimentation that indeed the traditional ways were the best.
