That ‘spirit of confidence’ does not exist without necessary trust in our fellow Americans.
Those who vote for the largess of the Treasury, do so at the expense of those who fill it.
Are the days of Earned Success gone with those who strive for Shared Success?
General DeGaul of France (the founder of the Fifth Republic that is still going strong) once said something profound: “The French are only happy when they are doing something Great.” The same with the USA—We must be challenged. Like in olden days the Cold War and the Space Race. Building the Transcontinental Railroad-—Winning the Great world war. We have lost it—Saddest day was when the Space shuttle was sent to a museum. We have set aside greatness for the mundain. We must find it again! How?
A few ideas—I bet you can think of others as well.
1. Finish the Crazy Horse Monument—lets take up a collection to carve this into the mountain.
2. Build a Highspeed train from coast to cost! New York to Las Angles.
3. Launch the New Space shuttle—a space plane we can land and re-fuel and use again.
4. Plan for a Base on the Moon.
5. Lets build a Tall ship (here in the USA) for the cadets at the Naval academy.
6. Lets build a huge statue of Ronald Reagan as big as the Stature of Liberty—To stand on the west coast to welcome people.
7. Lets rebuild Washington DC—much of it is a slum—violent, and depressing—lets clean it up!
