Glad you asked, I didn’t know either. Now that I’ve seen the answer I know what it is but still don’t get it.
The only "nickel back" I've ever heard of is a position in football on a formation known as the "nickel defense."
It's like this. If some dude came up to you and said, "If you give me $0.05 I'll give you every recording a certain Canadian band ever made." After you listen to the first few seconds you will say, "I want my nickelback". Hence the name.
