What did Hillary Clinton get the Donald for his wedding? Apparently, nothing.
During the Fusion network’s Brown & Black Democratic forum on Monday night in Des Moines, Clinton was asked what she got the Republican frontrunner when she attended his 2005 wedding to model Melania Knauss.
“Nothing, nothing,†she said.
“He was basically a Democrat before he was a Republican,†Clinton explained. “He was, you know, somebody we all knew in New York, and he was supportive of Democrats and supportive of a lot of causes I care about and people I knew cared about."
"Now he seems to have taken another road," she added.
Clinton, who frequently goes after Trump on the campaign trail for his anti-immigrant rhetoric, has faced questions as to why she and her husband, Bill Clinton, once attended his nuptials a decade ago.
Over the summer, Clinton explained that she went because she thought it would be “fun†and “entertaining.†Trump, however, has suggested that it was his donations that made her go.

Of course not. He’s a white, male, privileged one-percenter. Why would she give him anything? (her thinking).
Her meaning is, “He was sucking up to me, not I to him.”
That’s why she graced him with her presence, but no gift.
“For your list. Do you think Donald will come up with a gift to show she’s lying? Or does she really go around grifting at private parties?”
I think when you are talking this kind of money floating around, there isn’t much of a gift you can give. I mean, what do you give Donald Trump for his wedding? 500 bucks? 1000? A painting he probably doesn’t need? The gift Trump gets is the name recognition of the guest list.
That bitch knew nothing about NY until Chuck Schumer and other creeps foisted her on the stupid people of the town. It was then I decided I would no longer vote in the city and bought a residence out of state but kept my rental apt. She and her diseased-ridden husband were hayseeds from Arkansas.

She did give him a gift - she showed up, acknowledging that she was available for purchase.
It depends on the definition of “you”....she didn’t personally shop for a gift, someone on her staff did, so technically “she” didn’t get him a gift. Clinton logic

I think she’s lying. But it would be no surprise if it were true that this filthy rich hypocrite attended a VIP wedding without bringing a gift.
Just her very presence was gift enough.
Trump can make her look very bad on this either way - whether what she said is the truth or a lie.

And she didn’t even purport to attending to offer their best wishes.
You’d think that she could at least re-giftsome of the loot that has been lavished upon her as First Lady, Senator, or Secretary of State. How about that ugly pin she’s pictured wearing on the plane as she works on her blackberry?
Remember now, she wrote off her husbands used underwear when she donated them to Goodwill.
