A 2-year-old girl suffered minor injuries after an armed robber knocked over her stroller, snatched a tablet computer from her tiny hands and stole a purse from a woman pushing her in San Franciscoâs Bernal Heights neighborhood, police said Monday.

Well that narrows it down to about 28 million suspects.
If you must go to the websites of these lying ragsheets, at least use an ad blocker so they won’t get any ad revenue from your visit.
The 2 year old has a tablet?
.
guess that leaves out 30yr old white guys then
If he’d taken it away without knocking over the child and pulling a gun - just a sharp lecture to the mother - “let your baby see the world around her!” I might have applauded him.
It's telling of the type of people i.e. liberals who infest SF that when some commenters demanded a better description of the perp, some other commenters became quite incensed. "Well, what good would that do?" some huffed.
I guess the police should never issue a description. The one they did issue was almost 100% useless...a 30 year old male. I guess they should round every male in SF that fits that description. /s
Sanctuary city.
” I might have applauded him.”

Me too.
Another thing that drives me NUTS is seeing someone with a toddler talking on the phone. Young ones used to learn so much just out for a walk with an adult who would point out and explain things.
.
The surprising thing is that there was actually a two year old girl on the streets of (almost childless) San Francisco.
As for the tablet, I bet the girl already knows how to play games on it.
The thief is going to be sorely p!ssed when he realizes it’s a kiddie tablet. Hope he like Dora the Explorer.
Petty thieves aren't known for their brilliance. He'll probably love it.
So you would consider applauding a thief and total stranger scolding a mother in front of her child. How nice.
Me too.
I would consider any stranger snatching something out of a child's hand, and then engaging the mother in an unwanted conversation to be a threat.
Wouldn't you?
Probably Amish, son of Obama. I know that street very well, having grown up on Bernal Heights. Cortland goes down towards the Bayview District, where the worst ghetto in SF is. A short 15 minute walk from there to where yuppie residents live on Bernal Heights. Always been a street for crime in SF.
Half a century ago, one of my father's best friends was waiting at a bus stop on Cortland when he was jumped by several black teens. They doused him with gasoline and set him afire. Old Harry survived, spent two years getting skin grafts but lost the use of his right arm. No reason for the blacks to do what they did, just something the feral youths did for "fun".
That's an asinine comment. Gays have been leaving SF in droves over the last decade. There are children to be seen everywhere in SF now. Playgrounds are full of kids, baby strollers everywhere. Gays largely restricted on one district, while families with kids dominate in most other districts. One reason is an influx of tech workers with families. Also resulting in a decline of the poor, most notably the black population which dropped from 16 percent to about 5 percent in the last few decades; crime is down as a result.
Probably because of the high numbers of tech workers, there are quite a few kids who have electronic devices. Not that I agree with that. My own toddler grandchildren have tablets given to them by their parents, and are very proficient in using them.
I'm glad to hear it. Thanks for the update.
Whole neighborhoods were redeveloped and gentrified, and bad elements were displaced out of the city to cheaper housing miles away. The city got better not because of the libs who run it, but was lifted by the general prosperity of the tech sector (which is centered in Silicon Valley), same way it prospered in the 19th century from the gold and silver discoveries in the foothills near the Sierras.
There's friction between the poor (illegals) and the well-to-do (yuppies/techs), but it's relatively safe to walk the streets now versus 30 years ago. And lots of people with baby strollers in evidence (away from the bad areas). If you're a tourist, stay away from Castro District (gays), Hunters Point (blacks) and Market Street (homeless/druggies), and you'll be surprised how normal the city is. (Maybe also 18th Street and Treat Street where hookers hang out at night, dicey.) Normal as in safe for kids and parents alike.
Interesting stories from Bernal Heights. I stay on Bocana when in the City. Getting doused by blacks is tragic as is getting tires slashed for no reason.
Martha’s coffee on Cortland is pretty good.
You are correct about the few children in SF. I worked at Altas Elevator near 3rd and Mariposa fifteen years ago. Taxes and regulations forced Atlas to move to San Diego after serving SF for 75 years. Cruel city council.
The Walk for Life is SF is good news and later this month.
