We’re witnessing the death of all the things you mentioned in the last bastion of them. They no longer exist in America except in the confines of one’s own home and in the churches. That’s about to change as well.
Churches are exempted from the Maryland state law forbidding discrimination of employees based on ‘sexual orientation’, whatever that is.
These protesters are looking to pressure the church into changing their policy based on public opinion, and then opinion of church members.
If a church cannot define its own beliefs and be represented by employees who share those beliefs, then what is freedom of religion, speech, and association?
