Phyllis makes a good case. I still support Cruz, but can support Trump if he avoids a RINO running mate for example.
That creates an interesting question. If Trump is the nominee and Cruz says no to a VP slot, who's out there that could enhance Trump's chances the way Cruz would?
On the other hand, if Cruz is the nominee, it's unlikely Trump would be #2. Who out there would increase Cruz's chances and broaden his base?
Amen, you got that right!
Lots of good arguments for Trump - I'm close to making Cruz my second choice and going all-in for Trump.
‘... but can support Trump if he avoids a RINO running mate for example...’
Excellent point not repeated enough right now. We should not be so hard-core as ‘pro-Trump’ that we lose the opportunity for a conservative VP.
We should INSIST on a conservative VP. I would like him to announce one early myself. That would be a source of great comfort.
I hope Cruz makes an issue of it.
Once this Ruling Class is torn down, that clears a path for Cruz and other patriots who could well advance our nation more effectively in a less corrupt culture.
For example:
Cruz: ‘We Need Quite A Few Constitutional Amendments’

That’s the end game. Obama is so much like FDR that according to history constitutional amendments are inevitable.
But with this current crop of congressional leadership? Doubtful anything good would come of amendments. We need to ‘shake’em up’ first.
