Maybe what we have learned is that the really nasty prisoners, that can’t be reformed, should be shot on the battlefield.
Otherwise, they will be released by a future Liberal president for political points and they will return the battlefield to kill our soldiers again or to coordinate attacks against American cities and kill civilians.
Problem solved if they are already in “heaven with their 72 virgins.”
