"For private use", you mean like for the Keystone Pipeline that Ted Cruz and all of you support? Keystone uses eminent domain.

There's actually more court cases (more than a hundred years worth) backing up eminent domain "for private use" in certain circumstances than there are those backing up Cruz as a natural born citizen.

You’re still doing this. NO NO NO one can use eminent domain for private use - only government officials can do that. A private interest could nudge a public entity asking them to do a taking but it’s only the elected officials that can actually take then distribute.

So are you to blame when you go to your City Council and say hey I’l build the Taj Mahal on that choice piece of land Jim owns over there and then they condemn it and friggin give it to you? I say not. I say the scoundrels on the City Council are the culprits and thats where the fault lies.
