It’s already way up, getting quickly in and out of the local convenience store hasn’t been possible for over a week due to people buying lottery tickets. People get very motivated by the high payouts, never mind that the odds get even worse.

The odds get no worse. They stay exactly the same. Rotten. 1 in about 300,000,000. Which of course means 299,999,999/300,000,000 you will not win.

The odds never change. It’s 1 in 272 million IIRC. The odds that change are for you winning the whole thing and not having to share it.
