Because I sincerely hope that someone frequenting the FRee Republic website wins the power ball drawing tonight, especially a monthly donor and because that winner will be an (almost) instant billionaire, I am offering some sound advice on how to handle the situation.
At 11pm I tried to get in on the Florida lotto site and it was too busy to give me access.

The odds never change. It’s 1 in 272 million IIRC. The odds that change are for you winning the whole thing and not having to share it.

Unfortunately, it shows the same numbers. Drat. It was fun playing 20 bucks though, especially since friends drove to California to buy the ticket for me, I didn’t have to go myself.

Yep there may be no winner, so prize is going now into the billion. At least for you guys should you win the powerball, the Playboy Mansion is up for sale for $200 million but with the condition that Hef remains on the property until he croaks =)

Interesting that you live in Nevada with so many venues for gambling with better odds yet you still play the lottery. Not that there is anything wrong with that mind you, I just find it interesting.

I got 1 number..my nephew’s birthday, March 19th so I knew 19 would be a great number, the others, eh, didn’t even think of them so will have to do this all over again. Bluebird liquor in Hawthorne always has a huge line because they have sold many winning lotto tickets, but I just go local, no point in driving all the way to Hawthorne
