A Muslim woman was escorted out of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's rally in South Carolina on Friday after she stood up in silent protest.
Rose Hamid, a 56-year-old flight attendant, was sitting in the stands behind Trump, according to CNN, when the billionaire suggested Syrian refugees fleeing a civil war were affiliated with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Hamid, who was wearing a hijab, did not say anything while Trump spoke, according to CNN. However, Trump supporters called attention to her and Marty Rosenbluth, the man sitting next to her who also stood up.
The two were wearing stars resembling those worn by Jews during the Holocaust.
Security escorted the two out as Trump supporters booed and yelled "get out."
According to Hamid, one person shouted, "You have a bomb, you have a bomb," CNN reported.
"The ugliness really came out fast and that's really scary," she told CNN after she was escorted out of the venue.
Hamid added that several people around her held her hand and said "sorry" as she was forced to leave.
"There is a hatred against us that is unbelievable," Trump said after Hamid was ejected. "It's their hatred, not our hatred."
Hamid told CNN before the event that she didn't plan to disrupt the event, but wanted to give Trump's supporters some insight as to what Muslims are like.
"I figured that most Trump supporters probably never met a Muslim, so I figured that I'd give them the opportunity to meet one" she said. "I really don't plan on saying anything. I don't want to be disrespectful but if he says something that I feel needs answering I might - we'll see what strikes me.
"People don't have a chance to see anything other than the Muslims they see on TV," she added, talking about the footage of terrorists.

Trump has a birther past. He said it wasn't an issue during the summer and now all of a sudden it is an issue again. Trump's actions are deliberate and an attempt to derail the campaign of his closest rival for the nomination.
And Ted is being challenged in three states already.

Cruz is facing this head-on, which is good and showcases his abilities in a crisis—so, I see this as a net plus for him, not a negative.
It's a negative because Trump has forced him to deal with an absurdity instead of the issues. Did anyone pay attention to what Cruz had to say about North Korea? No, because of this Trump birther nonsense. It'll be interesting to see what Trump does to keep it going.
Your ire is best directed at that Manchurian candidate SOB John McCain, who could not wait to get in front of a camera and torpedo Cruz.
All McCain did was parrot Trump. And since McCain would much rather see a third Obama term than a first Cruz term then his comments are not surprising. But McCain is also irrelevant.

He’s an extreme left-wing lawyer who “fighting for the rights of undocumented immigrants.” A native of NY now living in North Carolina. Essentially, another one of the termites gnawing away at the woodwork of Western Civilization.
