My sister made some oblique questions last time we visited in December regarding Don Trump. She’s Democrat, from a family of unionist Democrats (me being the white sheep). My impression was that she was leaning toward a Trump vote and mind you she is a Bay Area California police connected unionist. If she’s leaning Trump in California, you can bet your adz there are many thousands more just like her ready to go to the polls and punch a ballot for the Donald.
Another poll that will not be mentioned on FOX.

I don’t believe 14% of republicans would switch to Clinton. There is nothing about Clinton to like if your are a republican.
My brother brings this up...he works around average-working-class Dem’s, and they’ve pretty much bought onto the Trump theme and want to reset the balance of things. I think in some ways....this worries the leadership of the Democratic Party because people like this would normally vote a straight-ticket, and it might trigger them into voting for other Republicans down through state lines.
Also, I noticed this week that Karl Rove went out and made a number of predictions on 2016. One of them was that if Trump was the candidate in November....Hillary would win. I couldn’t help but laugh over the prediction.
The few Dems I know, who I thought would be all in for Hellary....are supporting Trump.

Clinton won’t be running. The more she loses ground the more likely she’s going to be indicted and if not indicted, she won’t be able campaign with her health condition. Proxy campaigning is going to quickly wear thin.
Next weeks headlines will be about Chelsea being asked about her fathers infidelities.
Been saying this from the start, Trump will win the blue dogs big time, he will while the floor with Hillary and crack the EC map wide open. No other republican running can do this.
Anyone else gets the nomination, and election night is about a handful of states and which party has the better GOTV in them... Regardless of who wins, nothing structurally changes and the money and power brokers just keep on selling America down the toilet.

I had a similar experience the day before Christmas when I had lunch with two guys who used to work for me (in Palo Alto). One of them is African American. He arrived at lunch last and sat down next to me. His very first question to me was “who are you going to vote for?” I looked at him and said Donald Trump! He reached over, put his arms around me and said “you’re a good man, me too!”
People are figuring out just how poorly served we have been by both political parties, and Trump has energized and informed millions of people. I am betting that the general election isn’t going to be close, even if Hillary manages to stay out of jail and runs on the RAT side!
