Mr. Jones acknowledged in questioning by Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, that of 48,321 cases involving straw buyers, the Justice Department prosecuted only 44 of them — saying that “hard decisions” to prosecute were made based on “limited resources.” He also acknowledged that as the U.S. attorney in Minnesota, he never prosecuted anyone accused of being a straw buyer.

Proof!: DOJ Busy Destroying the 2nd Amend & Arming Terrorists! (Posted in 2012!)

In April ATF made some peculiar changes in their form required for over the counter purchase of firearms, Form 4473, Firearms Transaction Record Part I- Over-the Counter. ATF requires firearm dealers to use this form for over the counter gun purchases and cites the reason for these changes to be an order by the Attorney General’s Office. These changes are stunning as they actually make it easier for illegal aliens to purchase firearms than for US Citizens. Transient aliens, which will include illegal aliens, are not required to show any proof of residency and are not required to undergo the same rigorous background checks as citizens.

The gun store on the border with Milwaukee, that they just shut down, the cops got pissed at because they would call in about straw buyers several times a week. The cops told them to stop calling because they didn’t have the manpower to investigate or check them out.

Deliberate ignorance on the part of the cops so that they later would coplain about straw buyers from this store in order to use it to shut them down.

I read where one guy who was prohibited from possessing a firearm because he was a felon was caught with about 60 firearms that he regularly sells to street thugs. The ATF just prosecuted him on some misdemeanor and he got probation.

It is amazing how they let the violent criminals off scot free, yet are creating new laws to nail the law-abiding.

Disgusting actually.
