Now to get a copy of his FS-240, Consular Record of Birth Abroad / CRBA. That, on it's own, is sufficient to find US citizenship at birth. Mom's birth certificate is a support document for obtaining a CRBA.

That doesn't address the main issue.
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Until the definition of "Natural Born Citizen" has been decided once and for all the the SCOTUS, the threat of litigation remains for Senator Cruz.

This is little else than closing the barn door once the cows get out. NBC is translated to the children born to parents that are Citizens of the US.
Note the use of the plural.
Since it takes 2 to make a baby, BOTH are required to be US citizens; only one wouldn’t cut it for the Founders and Federalists that wrote the Constitution.
Yet, all that got thrown out in 2009 when Obamugabe was sworn-in as POTUS. As I’ve said earlier, precedent is set and even Angela Merkel could run for POTUS without challenge.

Well this is good. Not so good was the mother appearing on the Canadian electoral rolls. Cruz’s “spokesmen” keep having to explain, not a good thing. You can be sure Cruz’s citizenship will be effectively brought up by Hillary.
