I believe this is old news and the matter is settled....though complainers still turn up.

Do you have a link to show it was settled and the terms of the settlement?
Political? Ya think? What are the exact facts. Propaganda always gives you the conclusion ,like “cheated” but not the specifics like what actually happened. This is very old anyway.
August of 2013. LOL
What a maroon.

“To summarize, Mr. Schneiderman has seen his lawsuit whittled from a total of six claims to two, and those two are limited to students who participated in the schoolâs programs only in the window between May 2010 and December 2010. This eliminated the possibility of damages for more than 95 percent of all TEI students.
Whatâs more, according to the schoolâs records, of the approximately 1,000 students whose claims remain, only 121 are from New York State, and they spent approximately $105,000 total on Trump programs. Even if the attorney general somehow prevails in all those casesâand thereâs zero evidence to suggest he willâthe maximum damages Mr. Schneiderman can recover will be a tiny fraction of the $40 million the attorney general bandied about when he trumpeted his lawsuit on a tour of morning shows.
Missing a statute of limitations is a major screw-up. So is filing faulty affidavits and so is declining to fix those affidavits even when given the opportunity. It almost makes you wonder if the real point of this lawsuit was never to recover money on behalf of New Yorkers who were supposedly wronged, but instead to take on a high-profile defendant in a way that would surely generate headlines and television appearances.”

It seems to be going to trial this month.
Well, it made me yawn. And I’m a Cruzer.
“Mr. Schneidermanâs office blew the statute of limitations on all of those claims. If those claims had any merit, the attorney generalâs office frittered away the legal protections available to New York consumers. In place of those statutory claimsâwith their low burdens of proof, statutory damages, and rights to summary adjudicationâthe attorney general is stuck with common-law fraud, which has a six-year statute of limitations.”

There is no depth of depravity below which a progressive will not sink.
If there was anything to this, he would have been brought up on criminal charges.

Thanks. It’ll be interesting to see if the defrauded students are made whole — I hope so.
Appears to be a class action suit now. Just like Willie Sutton robbing banks - “because that is where the money is”.
See post 8, this has not yet been resolved apparently. I hope the students who were tricked out of their money are compensated.
If they were really after him they would publicize the documentary
made about his dealings in Ireland when he built his golf
course.
