-- What I think is not important of the Form 240. --

You asked when it was first "required" or similar, and I had an answer for that. However, the answer was prefaced with a note that the form isn't and wasn't "required" in order for citizenship to attach.

I don't know why you were asking when it was first applicable, or required, or whatever, but you seemed insistent on getting an answer to that question, and now you have your answer, sometime in 1934.

-- It's simply a distraction from the FACT that TED CRUZ meets ALL requirements to be President. --

Well, it's a distraction that you appeared to be fixated on, at least as to the date the form first came into play.

He meets the requirements to be a citizen, no doubt. Those requirements were satisfied by the circumstances of his birth, no doubt.

Your position is that Congress may, by law, make rules that establish natural born citizenship. That is, that making rules that establish natural born citizenship are a form of rule of naturalization.

That's the prevailing view.

Just as the prevailing view is that the constitution grants a right to homosexual marriage and to an abortion.

Thanks.
That's WHY I was asking.

The whole point is in the "Naturalization", or the laws defining it.
What is the root word of "Naturalization" ? Not only could the Founding Father define "natural born citizen", BUT ... THE FOUNDING FATHERS DID DEFINE IT !
And you ARE refusing the definition of "natural born citizen" CLEARLY DEFINED by our FOUNDING FATHERS !

"Natural Born Citizen" was defined for the United States, BY OUR FOUNDING FATHERS !

The Naturalization Act of 1790, let's read it !
