Last night SooperMexican reported on Ted Cruz responding to a question from an illegal alien ‘Dreamer’, where Cruz hit them with some truth and tough talk. This is that video:

This video was posted by the DNC as an indictment against Cruz and perhaps other Republicans. But what they consider an indictment, we consider the reality of following the law and I’m so glad Cruz didn’t sugar coat it.
Ted gave a great answer.

Yup. Perfect answer. Tough love. Strict abiding of the law, but not without sympathy. I feel sorry for the poor schmoes who get pulled over for speeding, but, hey, don’t speed.
Reps Dana Tyrone Rohrabacher, Steve Cantaloupes King and Kerry Bentivolio are the only members of Congress who get into shouting matches with illegal aliens and that’s a shame there is so few.
All she heard was the same sounds that the teacher in Charlie Brown made. She was put up there for the soundbyte and got crushed, as she should have been. But, the person that put her up there definitely deserves a slap in the mouth.
I hope the Dems spread this far and wide, as there are more people pissed off about illegal immigrants than the Dems realize...probably because the Dems think everyone wants more Democrat freeloaders.

My question to you is what do you expect to accomplish by replying to me like a wiseass? I'm guessing you are young if you are claiming to not understand why politicians talk like Cruz did in this clip. He did it to be able to later claim that he never said he would deport all illegal aliens. And it is the only reasonable explanation until he gives a direct answer.
I was a human tragedy, tried to defend myself with a firearm on my own property, and the state forced me to file guilty or else face jail.
Trump and Cruz are correct. I had NO sympathy from the courts for defending myself. If the LAW shit on me, then the LAW should toss their asses face first.
No sh*t. But you and I know that somewhere, some rich, white liberal was eating that up like nobody’s business. The young dreamer isn’t allowed to live in the neighborhood with the white liberal, of course, but someone fell for that crap.
You’re right, RedHeeler. He didn’t say it. But I don’t believe it’s because of the reason bramps gave, i.e., so that he could be free to switch positions at a later date. (Only Donald Trump is afforded that luxury thanks to a mesmerized electorate, a flummoxed media and talk show hosts who tiptoe through their coverage of Trump.) Cruz and most conservatives have to be so careful about how they word things because of today’s gotcha brand of political coverage that passes for reportage. The technique of using sound bites out of context is ubiquitous, and no one would be a bigger target for that than the despised Ted Cruz. I’m comfortable that he was saying she would be deported in accordance with the laws of the USA.
No, bramps, I’m not young. When you seemed distrustful of Cruz’ response, my antenna went up. Your reply to me explaining your reason shed more light on your POV, but I do wonder why are the two of you so suspicious of Cruz. He’s not like Trump who talks out of both sides of his mouth and then acts as if he’s always been consistent. While I do make allowances for the fact that pols are sometimes subject to epiphanies — and, yes, I’ve had them myself — I find Cruz to be a courageous, rock solid conservative whom I have learned to trust.
Finally to you, bramps, I’m sorry to have snapped at you. Such discourse seems to be the order of the day on FR anymore, and I do fall into it at times.
