Some times stupid has a cost.
Not only was the kid stupid to be sneaking into someone’s house at night, he didn’t have the brain functionality to hide his car far from the house.
He put the car at risk himself. The consequences were predictable. If I am his insurance company, I raise his rates until he is in his forties and his hormonal drive subsides. That would be fully justified.
