But I have the distinction of living in THE most gerrymandered district in the country — MD 3. (And MD 2 is #3 in the country. Nice to know Maryland leads the country in SOMETHING!)

I have the distinction of living in THE most gerrymandered district in the country — MD 3.

I just looked uo a map of MD-3.

What a mess!

And what an affront to the concept of equality and insult to the US Constitution.

Here is the kicker about the serpentine Florida 5th District that I posted on.

Florida's state constitution requires that Congressional Districts:

"must be contiguous. Unless otherwise required, districts must be compact, as equal in population as feasible, and where feasible must make use of existing city, county and geographical boundaries."
